Great people
I have bought from littlejohns several times. I have never had a really good experience. They are not flexible with pickup times or rescheduling. I understand that they need stuff out of the house but they need to think more about their customers who are keeping them in business rather than getting the job done and getting out of town. Plenty of other great auction company's around here that have 100 percent better customer service and care.
The people are super nice! The lots on Proxibid has very good stuff on it.
Beware! Not a reputable company. Their objective is to have you pay them so you can haul away their garbage. They put stuff in lots that has no business being auctioned off. Most of what I got from their auction was garbage, straight to the curb. I was afraid my neighbors would see the utter garbage I put out. Hopefully they didn't think it came from my house. The man who runs this company, even thought I don't agree with his ethics was fairly nice. The woman, not a nice person. Lesson learned. Never again.
You've been warned. Do not BID on Littlejohn online auctions, the items sell for less but they get you with the shipping charges. Not professional at all.
If you are someone who likes to purchase on line or attend on line auctions - avoid this company.Their "Packing" fees are outrageous and they don't even pack. Our items arrived in old ripped up boxes with zero packing material. They charged us $80.00 to pack two boxes of old pots and pans and used old newspaper. This did not include the actual shipping costs.
When I pay $80.00 for "Packing Fees" I expect nice clean boxes with proper packing material. Some of our items arrived damaged.Their secretary Jamie was rude and evasive when questioned.
If you have to bid with this company make sure to ask about their packing fees and get a quote BEFORE you bid.
