Stayed at Eby's Pines Oct. 4-7. I realize it is late in the season and all activities are over. I don't think that means the garbage collection should stop. Dumpster overflowing entire stay. An employee mowed the grass in the rain. What a mess. The campground lost power on Friday after some rain. We went to Shipshewana for awhile. I called numerous times to find out if power had been restored. Only a machine answered saying they were busy assisting other customers and leave a message. I left 2. That was Friday. It is now Saturday anf I have yet to have my call returned. Is this how complaints would be handled? There are many campgrounds out there and we will be staying someplace other than Eby's Pines.

Clean, spacious, quiet. Nice pool in the summer. Nice playground. Bathrooms and showers always clean. Off the highway. Very quiet. Safe. Cool. Smell of pines. Calming. A great place to stay for a few days. We always stay here when in the Elkhart area. I would highly recommend it! Golf cart rental. Nice camp store.

This is my 2nd time coming to this camping ground and my husband (it was my husbands first time camping) and i had a great time with our family. My brother and his family love coming here with their daughters, they love it and enjoy it a lot!
Its super Clean, even my husband notice it was very clean. The bathrooms were amazingly clean too. They never smell bad like other camping grounds. I didnt toom any pictures but my husband did so i will upload a few pictures!!

First time here, loved it. Very clean and family friendly! Great place for the family, kids enjoyed the pool. Fishing is catch and release not real fishing. My only complain is bathrooms are cleaned at the busiest time of the morning and toilet paper stinks! Will definitely return!

We were there when it was very crowded. Encroachment into the already narrow driving paths made for an interesting drive in and out in the morning. Campsites are quite close together and are more geared toward group camping events. Significant number of permanent RVrs. Appeared to be lots to do for the kids. Small stocked store with essentials at the front entry. It was an easy walk from our site. Front desk folks while polite were not helpful in helping us with directions to our site which necessitated a backup event among a group of tents.

We camped here for a couple weeks off and on. The weekend of memorial day we prepaid for a golf cart, they called while we where on our way there and told us they didnt have any left, after we had prepaid. Then a couple weeks later we rented a site, knowing we would have to move friday morning cause some one else had rented it for the weekend. The people showed up Thursday instead of friday. Not only did we get kicked off our site a day early but the owners son came down and yelled and cursed at me in front of my two year old son. To move cause the other campers had showed up early. He was so loud other campers came down to see what was going on. The other people camping there where nice enough to help my son and i move our three bed room tent and our stuff, since my boyfriend was at work. When the owner called his son into talk to me and him, the son said it was my fault and came up with every reason he could that i was in the wrong, he never once apologized. We also had rented a golf cart that weekend, it was not charging, we told the owner said the gauge is off. It was so dead by the time we left, we couldnt even return it to the office.
Not only did we go thru all this but one of the lady's in the office asked if we where homeless because i took a week off to go camping.
It sucks the staff is so rude because we liked camping here. Its beautiful the campers where nice. The creek is relaxing. And the kiddy pool and park are nice.
If we could have even gotten an apology and something for the problems they caused us we would have come back.

Parked our camper for the summer! huge site, pool and restrooms were always cleaned regularly and functioning. Staff is very nice and helpful and address all issues immediately and with respect. Will def be back next summer. Thanx so much for the amazing experience ♡

My whole family has been camping here for years, way back when the main bath house was the general store. We did a seasonal year here and loved it, some campers can be over bearing with loud music, or unsupervised children. But the staff have always responded quickly to any incident we have reported. I recommend this call ground to anyone who camps. Great little get away that's super close to home.

Beautiful sites, a little close together, but no more than most non-state run campgrounds. Loved that we could walk a mile long trail to the neighboring county park full of bike and hiking trails. We will definitely come back.

I enjoy camping at Eby's Pines. The staff are great and very helpful. Holiday weekends are always crazy busy and the staff runs their butts off trying to make things go smoothly for all the campers from planning activities, to making sure the store is stocked, and keeping the grounds clean and tidy. It is unfortunate for a campground to get a bad rap because of people who can't follow the rules which are clearly posted on all paperwork given to them at check in. Follow the rules and camping is fun, break the rules and you pay the consequences. No need for bad reviews because rules couldn't be followed.
