Great place to camp near Cincinnati. Weekends in October are the best at Little Farm.. Creepy campouts.

Top loop is a little crammed in there, but could be much worse. Bottom area by ohio river private, quiet, open- bordered by fields and somewhat similar to a state park with its open scenery and solitude, but is closed to RVs during the Winter. It's still open for a walks, run or just wandering down by the river. The park is very family, kid friendly with kids often wondering around in small packs. At the same time, they don't mind adults sharing a few beverages around the campfire, too. They have a nice little fishing pond too. Huge pool, that I'm sure is used in the summer.
Amazon camper workforce work midnight shift and sleep during the day which could at times make sleeping somewhat problematic given the occasional daily activities, such as a loud truck driving by, etc. Still, I think it's a great campground for the Amazon campers. The staff at the office are prompt in calling you up if you have mail or a pkg, and they reguarly pick up your trash several times a day.
Downside is the roads. Roads are atrocious though they attempt to fill them with gravel. Dirt is clay-like and rocks poured into the holes just sink and eventually disappear. I guess natural speed-bumps to keep people from speeding.
3 washers and 2 dryers for the top part of the campground. Shower house is kept good. 2 showers in the men's room, with very hot water.
Nice veterans day celebration over the weekend with fireworks. Very nice Christmas display of lights. They put a lot time and effort in their Christmas display.
Verizon 4g strong. At&t weak. Wifi didn't work for me.
They allow pkgs and mail to be picked up at their office.
Staff seem friendly and down to earth and easy to talk to.
3 to 4stars review here as the road needs help and wifi seems spotty and they need more washers/dryers, but at least they have washer and dryers.
Also on this side of the river the towns of Rising Sun and Aurora are just down road, so shopping is very nearby.
I'd stay here again if I had too.response / report this review -

We got here on Oct 1st we love it will be here til Feb . lots to do here convenient to just about anything you need. Kid and pet friendly. Meet a lot of nice folks here defently would come back.

We had a great stay in the efficiency cabins at Little Farm on the River. I was hesitant based on the reviews but knew this establishment was under new ownership this summer and decided to give it a try. I am very glad we gave this place a try.
Upon arrival, the cabins were clean. 2 out of the 3 efficiency cabins were beside the pond and one large cabin located next to it. Our visit was during the week but it was very quiet and the people whom were talked to were very pleasant.

*Limited hours for camp store (weekdays)
*Club House closed when store closes due to vandalism at the camp
*Bunk Bed mattresses are very thin.
Bottom Line:
I would recommend Little Farm on the River to anyone who is looking to spend a few days camping. RV Rentals and personal RVs/Campers are welcome at the campground.
The owners of the campground are working to fix it up. They still have some work to do but are making progress based on other reviews I have read.response / report this review -

We camp at Little Farm all the time , we have never had a issue I did cancel a reservation once and it never got to the right person . Liz took care of it for me other than that we love it there. Never had a problem with the staff or any campers. We try to rescept the other campers , but we do not go to bed at 11oclock we have out music on haven't had a complaint yet! Roads do need some TLC and some of the sewer pipes are busted . We will continue to camp regularly close to home and very convenient.

Lots of room even when booked up. Beautiful scenery. Within a 2 miles of a casino and a charming town. Maintenance on hand to help with anything you need. I highly recommend this spot.

They are under new management! They are fixing it up. The campground were well mowed. They cleaned the pool every morning and night. The bathroom were clean except on the weekend. I would definitely recommend this campground. If you want lots with good shade you want to get a lot in the first campground not the one by the river. Hope it keeps going in the direction it is going!

This campground is somewhat oversold and overpriced. Having said that, it is adequate in many ways; just not as good as advertised nor a good value for the camping fee. The office and camp store is beautiful and well-stocked so first impression is "wow!". From there it's a little downhill the rest of the visit. The pool is very nice but NOT "olympic-size" (but our grandkids loved it). The snack bar at the pool has become a store room with boxes sitting in the windows. In its place, they have set up a mobile snack bar across the road. The roads are dusty gravel with many depressions and potholes which become puddles of creamy, gray water/mud for your coach after it rains. The lake is small, reedy and overgrown on the edges. The staff works at a substantial list of activities for all if that's your thing, i.e. kiddie train, hayride, golf cart poke run(??), etc. But in summary, once you get past the front door (camp store), the whole place is just kind of ratty. The grounds are not well-groomed, the buildings (except for the office) all need some paint and sprucing up, the campground vehicles are dirty and beat up, there is equipment like tractors, bulldozers, wagons, many golf carts accumulated in an area in/near the outdoor recreation shelter. In spite of an 11PM-7AM quiet time, we had a loud party with music until 3AM across the street from us. Next day conversation revealed that it was a group of seasonals who party on a regular basis (apparently with impunity), rotating sites each night. So, overall, meh. It's not a "resort". It's a so-so campground that could use some TLC.

This RV park is the best one we have ever been in, & we visit a lot of them as my hubby is a traveling electrician so we live in our RV, don't even own a house. So if u r ever in this area, please stay @ little farms. I promise you will not regret it!!!
