This place is so chill and has a great drink and food menu. They have wifi and a few tables, some couches, and seems to be a place a younger crowd likes to meet with friends or study. They are open late which makes it a great place for a late night sweet tooth or caffeine.
I love going here! Everything tastes amazing, the customer service is incredible, and everybody is extremely nice!
Great bubble tea, the orange milk flavor tastes like an orange dream. Fantastic. Great popping boba as well. Yum! This place is clean and the people are nice.
Alright, so I know most people go to liquid because it's usually the only place open till the am in the suburbs. But let me tell you, try and avoid going here, ESPECIALLY when the employee Adrian is there.
- totally ignored the mess of an exploding cup right in front of them
- rude attitude when discussing for a clean up and a reason why the cup exploded.
Honestly, so disgusted by this guy Adrian's service and all of the workers there at the time of 11:45 pm of June 25th, but he seemed to be in charge. I've gone to Liquid Fusion since I was like 5 from the original one in Northbrook, so I know how to drink bubble tea. I've been a loyal liquid drinker for MANY years and that says something, because most teens have better things to do than write a review at midnight. This guy Adrian has totally ruined my experience at Liquid by a) embarrassing me in front of my friends b) being VERY rude c) being unwilling to clean up a mess that required a mop d) poorly taking care of a clean up that the CUSTOMERS were willing to do.
So here's the story, I go to liquid with a group of friends after returning from a nice venue party, meaning we were wearing some fancy outfits. I was ordered a Thai milk tea with jobs and of course I was sitting next to my friend who, of course, was the only one wearing white. I've had many years of bubble tea drinking, so I know how to put the straw in. BUT, the whole cup fell apart from bottom to up, spilling all over my friends white blazer. I felt pretty bad that my drink spilled all over my friend and my shoes unto the floor, but i cannot stress enough, the cup was the issue. Ive never had a cup explode on me before. While this was all happening, the workers totally ignored what happened without even getting from the back. They just gave my friends a handful of napkins and a 2nd cup to put the exploded one in. They IGNORED the situation. But I understood that it was pretty busy, so I went to the bathroom with a friend to clean her blazer and when I came back, they haven't mopped anything, having my friends sit in the mess without ONE person leaving behind the counter, IGNORING the issue. So I asked for a new drink, politely, because again it was late and I get working late hours suck, I work late too. But ADRIAN totally blamed me for putting the straw in wrong, causing the cup to explode Excuse me, but ive had bubble tea all my life, and I've never had an issue before, but he had the audacity to assume that it was my fault. I wasn't blaming him, I was arguing that I had a faulty cup, but he simply didn't want to replace the drink and argued me about it being my problem. He also took the cup from me, withholding my evidence for my argument against him to SHOW how the straw WAS NOT the issue. While I was asking for a new Thai tea, he simply just put the exploded tea into a new cup, filling 3/4 of it with ice. And to end with a cherry on top, they still didn't clean up the mess after a good 15 minutes.
So before I left, I made sure to get Adrian's name from a coworker which made her finally speak up. Unfortunately, I had a long night as well, and I was offended that she only acted upon being threatened. So that concludes a long night of a destroyed white blazer, terribly rude service, plastic tasting tea, and me writing a review longer than some of my essays at 2 am.
I hope this influences someone's choice upon liquid fusion and teaches Adrian a lesson.
With love,
Jackie
My time in Liquid Fusion in Lincolnshire was not such a nice experience. The young man at the counter was being very rude to my older cousin. My cousin asked for their coffee freeze and the young responded in saying we don't have that in a rude way. The young man at the counter could've said sorry we don't have it right at this moment instead is being rude! My older cousin finally got his order and the young man didn't even announce our order, my cousin then realized that he got small instead of a large. My older cousin then told him that I think I may have ordered a large instead of a small. My cousin told him in a nice way but the young man said nope! The young man then gave him his receipt. The young man didn't even make eye contact with us! Overall, the drinks are good but customer service, not so much.
Pretty great here tbh love that it's open late
Drinks are really good. Customer service not so good, specifically the young guy with the glasses. I've been here a few times and each time he has been pretty rude
Great place to chill and study. The bubble tea, although no gong cha, still tastes pretty good. The service is great! The bathrooms are kinda tough to find though.
Boba good. Cafe atmosphere good for hangouts. No complaints.
