Awesome food. Friendly service. Great salad bar that comes with just about every plate. Also free corn nuggets who is u wait
Omg, now this place primarily serves Seafood and One person had the all you can shrimp and I had the shrimp and Oysters, both came w/ all you can eat salad bar, baked potato, other sides can be substituted Garlic toast. Nice friendly staff. Very relaxed. Go before 530p on Friday or you will be in a line to get in. But it is worth the wait. I was so excited to see medium shrimp, I forgot about dessert. As I don’t drink alcoholic beverages often. I don’t remember.
But This Is One Place To Eat Seafood At!!!!!
Great food and good service! Had the all you can eat fried shrimp and they were wonderful. Great portion sizes. Tarter sauce is great!!
Sea food was good, not great. The shrimp and scallops plate was delicious and portions were generous. Broccoli salad on the salad bar was soured. Waitress replaced it when others complained. The baked potatoes tasted leftover, not freshly made. They were out of dessert options the day we were there too - no key lime pie, nothing.
The specialty (seafood) is good. But, they need more help. The wait is too long, the cashier doesn't seem to know how to multitask. The parking is aweful. The waitresses are good so be sure to tip them.. Oh and don't bother trying to call them. They don't answer their phone.
Excellent all around! Our server, Chance, as well as the food, was great!!!
Awesome food and great service from our waitress, Deb.
Friday night all you can eat shrimp
No acknowledgement when we walked in the door. Had to ask if we needed to seat ourselves. Ordered unsweet tea and got sweet. Salad bar has flies crawling on the utensils. Utensils are very slimy and sticky, not clean. Fritters were cold. Ordered the lighthouse platter to share with my SO and it wasn't good either. Everything had WAY to much salt on it. Won't be going back. 💩
I don't think it's possible to have better catfish than what they got here. The first time I came, I ordered some catfish and fries and some shrimp. And that was probably bout the greatest food I have ever had. Y'all keep cooking good food!
We were trying to find a good place to eat while we were vacationing at Manatee Springs. Almost didn't go there because to only menu I found for them was very expensive and nothing like the real menu. Also, some of the reviews said to stay away and when we arrived, the outside of the building needs some cleanup and repairs. Not very appealing! But, once inside, it was clean and nice! I feel we are experts on good restaurants! We love seafood and they had several platters to choose from. We decided on the Dinghy platter for $10.95 which was very reasonable. It had shrimp, fish, oysters, crab claws, a choice of side, hush puppies and a trip to their GIANT salad bar (a meal in itself). When they brought our meal , we were shocked as to how much food there was on the plate! We also tried their swamp cabbage which was very tasty! We had to have a to go plate! We would highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!
