Pizza and salad excellent as usual but the service has gone in the tank lately. Second time in last month it took nearly an hour to get the pizza to the table after ordering. Getting take out almost as bad. It was Tuesday at 530pm. Parking lot empty, not busy!!!

Seriously excellent. Fresh homemade everything. Noodles bread desserts. Very friendly staff. Food came out in good timing. Not too fast but quickly as it was slow while I was there.

The staff is very nice. The atmosphere is cute. However, the lights are so dim that the menu is hard to read. Also, our food was cold. The server heated it up though and then it was delicious.

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. The prices are steep for the area which I know for a fact deters many from eating there but regulars are not bothered by this. Portion sizes are huge, the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is inviting. The staff is usually very nice and of course, the salad and that amazing dressing is a thing I crave and go for as soon as I hit town. Maybe some more creative specials on favorites (I don't think I've ever seen gnocchi on special) and free refills would entice some. Still, I love the bell!

Booked for NYE dinner at 8pm. They were out of several menu items but we were only informed after we ordered, so we reordered only to have the server return to inform us they were out of those items as well. Almost walked out with the group after 2 rounds of reordering even though we already started soups and salads. In prior years we dined at Liberty Bell for NYE dinner and had very good experiences Pretty unfortunate that this experience has firmly removed Liberty Bell from our list of preferred dining establishments in the area.

Fantastic restaurant and food was outstanding and fairly priced. Waitress was very bubbly and made us feel important. Definitely a Hurley gem!

Although this restaurant appears to be serving many of the same items it did when I was a child and we would visit the area the quality of the food has gone down hill considerably. Long gone is the taste of homemade food items as many items taste rather packaged. Our true love here, the Cesar salad, at one time could beat out all others including my own version of it, and now it is now a watery mess of what it once was. The restaurant is still clean. They have opened a small store connected to the building but sadly this store has decreased the items that it once sold when it first opened and we find ourselves passing this store by. This is no longer the place that I remember. It does still seem to do a good business although in a town this small there are limited restaurants to select from.

Delicious but non-traditional Caesar salad.
Good housemade pasta, sauce and meatballs.

This was an amazing find for us. The veggie pizza was incredible.
The pizza was sliced into one inch squares. Perfect sauce , cheese and
veggies on each yummy mouth size slice. The staff was warm and
welcoming.. People at other tables said hello as we sat down. I laughed
at the latest comment about "flirting". I think everyone knows everyone
and the staff just spreads midwest hospitality. I wished i lived there.response / report this review -

Went there on a Monday evening with my husband and child. After being seated we weren't given the time of day. No one came up to us for 10 minutes. We didn't get waters or even a menu. Only concern the waitresses seemed to have was flirting with a man sitting alone and who was going to get the table of 10 coming in. We ended up walking out and no one even noticed.

Nice romantic little place for dinner for two or even a big group. There is also a bar if you're alone haha. If you walk in the bar and sit at a table they won't serve you, must make it to the hostest counter around the corner. Figured it out though.. service was great.. food was a little overpriced and the menu was half blacked out. Looked like a owner made the menu to begin with and shouldn't be hard to delete item and do reprints instead of a menu that is blacked out with Sharpie.. the place is classy but their menu doesn't match, they need a graphic designers help for that. Pizza was good but costly for thin crust that had some toppings from a can and sausage from a frozen bag. But overall wasnt bad, had better had worse. Service was good at least, also cool looking place. Just needs some fine tuning.

Ate lunch with a large group. All of us loved our food and service. Meatball sandwich, chix pesto sandwich, chix n red pepper pizza. Decor is old n retro, very cool. Check out the 12 foot wrought iron chandelier.

The Bell has some of the best pizza ever, and we try to eat here whenever we're in the area. Our family likes it so much that we tend to fight over the leftovers the next day. The Caesar salad is excellent (that dressing!), though their "for two" can easily be split between four people and still be too hardy for a side salad to pizza! Their pastas are also great, and we've always been pleased with their beverage selection. It's much easier to get in during the lunch hour, as it's pretty busy in the evenings. Their take and bake pizzas are pretty good too, but it's all about the crispness of that crust right out of the oven at the restaurant, and we've never gotten it quite right by using our own oven. This is the place I recommend when people ask where to eat in town.
