Located on Hwy 51 in Mercer, WI. Wonderful staff, located on a main snowmobile trail, hot tub, restaurant and bar (with weekend entertainment), and continental breakfast. Love it! We come here several times each winter for snowmobiling.

Most of the stay was enjoyable. Until, that is you want to place a food order at the Wolfs den. Walked in to place an order, seemed like business as usual grill seemed busy as did the bar! Went to place an order for a simple pizza when I was told "kitchen is closed". don't forget meanwhile 3-4 people were cooking ten feet away from where I was standing, near the kitchen. unbelievable!

Room was comfortable. cleaning staff was very pushy. The door was propped open by the cleaning staff while we were going in and out of the building, before the keys were turned in. The person at the desk just smirked when I complained.

Nice stay. Feels like staying in someone's guest bedroom in a country house. Woman at front desk very friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar area had a patron being a little obnoxious, but you probably see all walks of life here. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are nice and big! There's plenty of room for multiple people to sleep on the floor if needed. However, the beds are pretty hard and the pillows are very flat. It is nice that the room has a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast is provided in the mornings in a nice big, open room. It's simple things like toast, bagels, cereal and yogurt. There is a lake behind the hotel with free peddle boats, a paddle boat, and a canoe. Overall, this is a great hotel as long as you're not looking for luxurious bedding.

Good food here with wolfs bar and grill. Nice spacious rooms and right by the ATV trails! Rates aren't bad either. Beds are comfortable.

Nice huge rooms, lakeside is best but all are nice, reasonable prices. Beautiful lakes and walking paths nearby. Close to Manitowish Waters too.

Located on Highway 51 in Mercer, WI just south of Hurley in Wisconsin's upper North lake effect snow area. Nice rooms with 2 queen beds, microwave, mini frig, flat screen TV, cable, continental breakfast, and great food in the Wolf's Den Bar and grill. Large parking lot with plenty of room for snowmobile trailers. Easy access to Trail 17 which runs North and South hitting the area's best snowmobile trails! Not the most modern hotel, but the friendly staff, good size rooms, location and great food make the Great Northern our choice every time!
