Very cute, cozy place in the north woods. I would highly recommend this place. Clean rooms, great food, and perfect Wisconsin atmosphere.

WOW. Very clean, rooms are nicest I've ever stayed in. Wood floors, and ceilings. They are also pet friendly. Owners are very nice.

Very nice atmosphere. Good food. Friday fish was very nice. Light breading and flaky. Good homemade tarter. No baked potato, only fries or potatoes pancakes. Coleslaw was OK. Special cranberry butter with warm bread was delicious.

Met friends for dinner at 7:00 pm on a Thursday evening. There were six of us and only 2 other people in the dining room. Dinner took a total of 2.5 hours, extremely slow. Can't imagine what it would have been luke if they were busy.
Food was mediocre at best.
Too bad, this place was great when they first opened several years ago and the atmosphere and decor is fantastic but the service and food, not so good.

Place has warm and inviteing feel. The hostess at the besk was a bit unenthused that we didn't have a reservation, and not helpful with getting a high chair but our server was fantastic, we had the fish fry and it was very good.

Cute place! Stayed at hotel, and had dinner there. Rooms decorated very cute, but strong smell of something..maybe varnish? Had to keep window open all night it was so strong, very clean though. Duck a bit overdone for me, but still good. Bartender very nice, and fun to chat with. Would stay again!
