Steak and Fries done with perfection. It's all there is in the main menu. You just tell them how you want your steak cooked. It's a no fuss comfort food. Don't forget their extensive desserts

They do one thing (Steak-frites). They do it very well. On top of that they have a very good house Bordeaux and few but outstanding deserts. Can not go wrong here.

A different take on the good old steak with that good old fries. You do get two servings though. That mustardy sauce leaves something in the palate but for good reasons - to keep you coming back for more.

Upscale french-style restaurant. Prix fixe meal, and excellently prepared lunch with their "secret sauce", with an extensive wine list. Only choices are the cooking levels of the beef. Pricey for lunch, but friendly, attentive service. Was not crowded.

Great concept in the center of NY. High quality fix menu for a fix price; served on a timely maner for those living in the hurry of the big city and don't want to sacrifice quality.

3.5 dinner with parents visiting NY. Place found on NY pass guide.
Warm and relaxing atmosphere, kind service and staff.
We took and main dish of the restaurants: fries with 4 slices of beef.
The meat and sauce was good but definetly not wat expecting a steak house experience. Very simple food and poor presentation,

My family and I love this place. We always try to eat at a Relais restaurant when we travel to a city that has one.
Their menu is simple: you get a salad with walnuts and mustard sauce and you choose how you want your meat (sirloin thinly cut) cooked. You get two servings of it with fries and a to die for sauce!
The dessert menu is extensive too so leave room for dessert!

Great food!! They have amazing steak with secret sauce that is even more amazing! If you like french food, this should be in the list of top destinations foer you! This restaurant is underrated in USA. There are huge lines for it in france apparently! Go here and try the food, you will not regret!

A very nice place. They only serve meat with fries. You only have to choose the meat cooking. Because of that the service is fast. And also because of that, the food is very good. Wanted to order beer, but they don't have a great selection.

It coulnt have been any easier to order. All i mentioned was 'medium'. It was quick and to the point. The fries were crispy and the meat tender. Will repeat!

So much food Interior is really cute. Wait staff look very proper. Tip: get special steak sauce on the side, otherwise your steak will be drowning in it. Also the sauce is a little like pea soup, without the ham.

One of my favorite restaurants. Fixed price menu. Small salad, steak fries, with a second serving! Simple. Get the house red and the chocolate profitroll for desert.

Interesting concept we were unaware of when we came here for lunch.they serve only one meal every day, and it's the same every day! And they've been doing this with success since the 1950's.
They start you off with a salad with crushed walnuts and a decent vinaigrette. Then the steak frites.so very delicious!!! Steak served with a very light gravy/sauce. Seconds on meat and fries are allowed. If this is a favorite dish of yours, you should check it out. Lunch was $35 per person. Not sure if price or amount of food differs for a dinner order. They do have an extensive a la carte dessert menu, but we were too full to sample any of there sweets.

Service was fine but we were forced to eat from the prix fixe menu, which ended up being steak and fries. They couldn't cook the steak medium rare, or medium well, which are our regular orders so I got rare and my boyfriend got well done, neither one of which tasted very good. It also came presliced and I mean who wants their steak sliced as thin as some sort of deli meat? Not me. Just an unsatisfactory meal that wasn't worth the 75$ we ended up paying for it.
