One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was great and helpful. The room was beautiful and the kitchenette was exactly what I needed while away from home.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to even see my room, I booked a week in advance and traveled all the way from Maryland thats 2400 plus miles when I showed up the man at the front desk denied my form of payment without even running the card , seemed as though they are trained to judge looks and dont care about a persons well being , after hours of phone calls I was finally able to book a best western and got some rest , they are arrogant people and showed me no respect as a human being , i would recommend u stay as far away from this hotel as possible , terrible business as for the rooms that still remains a mystery to me .

DO NOTbSTAY HEREI checked out on Friday after a 2 night staybarely spent any time in the hotel (we basically just slept in the room and was out all day). I come home to a $125 charge on my credit card. I immediately called the hotel and they said that a lot was missing from the mini bar. There was no chance I used anything from the bar. The person I spoke to told me that there was nothing he could do and hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are old and dirty (sheets had stains on). This hotel is disgusting and a scam.

My heartfelt thanks & gratitude to Ashley Chestang (senior sales manager) & all the cordial staff at Le Montrose Suite Hotel in West Hollywood CA for such a wonderful stay this past July for my son's wedding. Everyone was so very professional, accommodating & most importantly kind. Being from just an average city I think I was somewhat intimidated by being in the LA area let alone Beverly Hills. I was grateful for the reasonable pricing of the room & was expecting far less than what I walked into. What a perfectly lovely lovely room the layout was amazing. Thanks to everyone at Le Montrose for being a part of what made my son's wedding so incredibly memorable.

Decent hotel and great location between Sunset and Santa Monica. Nice rooms however they look much better in pictures. If you brought a vehicle I wouldn't suggest staying here as mandatory valet parking is $40 a night! Staff was decent but always seemed rushed. Just remember you are mostly paying for the location not the hotel.

Spent two nights there during Memorial Day week-end. We took the suite with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette since we went with the kids ans wanted quiet time after they were put to bed. Some things I loved, others I hated. Overall quite a disappointment for the price however

    Things I liked:
    - Friendly staff
    - Location: walking distance from Santa Monica blvd
    - Space: our suite was as big as a small appartement
    - The pool: heated, and the view over Hollywood/LA was splendid

    Things I disliked:
    - Noise from inside: Noisy fridge, noisy AC. Both definitely needed maintenance.
    - Noise from outside: Good thing this place is in a quiet neighbourhood because the windows don't really block noise.
    - The kitchenette. Dated, but I was mostly disappointed to find no silverware or covers whatsoever (beside glasses and a bottle opener). This rendered the stove and microwave useless.
    - Parking. They charge 40$ per night in a neighbourhood where it's almost impossible to park at night because of the signs. That's clearly a way for them to milk more money from you.
    - You can tell everything is starting to show some age despite efforts. Bathroom had a humidity smell. (Really weird that the light was hooked on a timer, but the vent on a switch. Why no the other way around?)

I'm a very heavy sleeper and usually always leave 5 star reviews. But it is 2:15am and, outside of the very pretty decor of the hotel, this has been my worst night sleep in as long as I can remember. The guests above us are so loud and had a party going on from 8pm to 1am and I can hear every move they make, fight they have, and door that shuts. Every time they close their door upstairs, ours rattles as if someone is trying to shake ours open. There are lots of gnats in our room and I woke up with a bite on my thigh and two bugs in my hair. Sad that we are paying this much to not even get sleep. It's also a shame that we're paying $40 for parking, we could have gotten more for less money at this point.

I loved the rooms at the hotel. We even had a balcony! The roof top pool is cool with a beautiful view of LA and its conveniently located near tourist attractions. Just expect to pay for parking. I believe we paid $40 a night

Big room with a couch. Bar and pool on the roof. Rooms feel nicely soundproofed. The restaurant has a nice array of basic dishes, at pretty good prices. Great little hotel.

It's perfectly serviceable, and is conveniently located, but you can tell the building is old even with the remodel. The requisite valet is a nightmare, there are cob webs in the rooms and throughout the hallways, which is a sign of how thorough their upkeep is, and there's constantly work being done within the hallways, whether it's a housekeeping cart or room service dishes on the floor. The rooms are very cozy though, with fireplaces and a sunken bed for effect. Although there is a desk provided, it's mostly occupied with their own displays and furnishings. Overall, it's perfectly serviceable and is often well priced in comparison for the area, but the location and proximity are what's worth it, not the amenities or service.
