Fantastic stay at the Delfina - from check in to check out. Upon arrival guests are greeted with champagne. I took full advantage of the house car, bikes, and pool. Location is close to the water and affords nice views too. Couldn't say enough good things. Strong recommend.

I’d advise you to pick another spot to lay your head. I’ve emailed the manager about all of this but never heard back.
The fire alarm went off at 5am- the one in our room didn’t work though- and it turned out to be a false alarm. It was terrifying but no one really offered an apology or explanation.
We also paid for a room with a balcony but that’s not what we got.
And then the maid walked in on us about one hour after we checked in which was weird for everybody.
Just overall pretty careless. There are way way better places to stay for this price.

Nice hotel with a bar/restaurant area. Food is good but the drinks are weak. Nice fitness area beautiful pool area but lacking a hot tub/whirlpool which was lame especially since it was far to cold to use the pool, a hot tub would have been nice.
Free Valet is a bonus and a courtesy car to take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel, but they don't pick you up.
I would say our stay was pleasant and the rooms were quiet.

Hotel is okay, but at a price of over $400/night, hardly worth the price. Beds aren’t too comfortable, and we got placed in two doubles although we requested a king. Safe didn’t work. AC makes a loud engine/fan sound all night, old antiquated TV, bathrooms with old tub and toilet. But nice pictures. Just very average and not worth the price tag. Needs a face lift.

The staff were nice and accommodating, the housekeeping staff were phenomenal. Clean room, pool, common areas. Good location!!! Easy and fun walk to the pier, beach, shopping. My only complaint is that the bathroom in our room had some gnarly mold in the shower/tub, and the pipe under the sink was leaking, but overall it's clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar is great for drinks, the food was good but a bit overpriced. Overall, I would definitely stay again, but plan to eat at any of the awesome local places within a short walk.

This is a great hotel and the service was excellent. Free valet parking and four hours of free use of the hotels bikes. It is a short distance to ride down to the beach and along the Venice Beach walkway. Head in the other direction and you are at Santa Monica Pier. The rooms are clean and modern and had the most comfortable beds I have had in a hotel. Upon arrival you are greeted with champagne (although I am convinced it was non-alcoholic which is fine) and a friendly staff. One of the hotel managers came over to us at breakfast and asked us how we were enjoying our stay and chatted with us for awhile. I would definitely stay here again .

EXTREMELY nice staff! Clean hotel and a nice location. Room service was a definite miss though. Called three times and they never picked up, and kept going to front desk. Finally front desk took my order on the 3rd time I was auto transferred to that line. Just wanted a cheese burger (which was subpar) after a long night. Took an hour and half to get it sounded like the front desk forgot to give my order to the food/room service folks, until an hour had passed and I called in to see where my food was. Just a heads up, they have mandatory valet, but luckily it's free except for your tips of course.

Quick and easy stroll to the boardwalk and beach where I was attending a conference. Aside from a brief kerfuffle on the phone about the impending reservation, the service and service-folks themselves were incredibly courteous and welcoming. The lobby is large and accommodating, plus the free coffee in the morning was an incentive to venture down and hang out on a couch or chair as guests filtered in and out—check-in after checkout—and so on. The rooms were great, as well as the bottles of Dasani that were on-the-house; however, I was really hoping for a walk-in shower with all the modern amenities. Would I book here again? Absolutely.

About 2 blocks walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shopping. The rooms and view from room were nice. A glass of sparking wine upon check in is a nice touch. They also have a shuttle that takes you within 2 mile radius of the hotel. Great customer service, although we thought that the continental breakfast was for all customers it's only for SPG platinum guest. We enjoyed our time and would consider visiting again.

Not sure why this place has some negative reviews. I thought this hotel was amazing. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I travel a lot. Patrice at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, upon arrival we got free champagne. Free bike rentals, game room, pool was clean and not too crowded. Valet was free, and speedy. Patrick and the other weekday waitress by the pool were both so awesome. All staff was friendly. Live music at the bar.We really loved this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

Darius made us feel welcome from the mement we walked in! The lobby was spacious and clean. Our room was an ocean view and we loved sitting out on our balcony looking out over Santa Monica. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in!!! Also, a big perk was the free hotel driver who would drive us anywhere within a two mile radius.

Loved it here! Rooms were as expected With a nice terrace overlooking the pool. The service was great with every staff member being helpful and professional. The hotel offers rides local to the area so you don't have to drive to the pier. The location is great and my kids loved the pool. The only thing that wasn't excellent was the food but there are plenty of other places in the area to eat. I would definitely come again.

We stayed for a Bachelorette party and had a blast. They greeted us with Champagne when we checked in to start the weekend off right. From there the staff was phenomenal and very attentive. The pool was very relaxing and the other patrons were extremely kind. The hotel is walking distance from the pier which is a major plus. We didn't end up using the town car or the bikes but can't wait to come back and take full use of the amenities. The views from the rooms are beautiful as well!

FANTASTIC service. I ended up unknowingly driving off with my trunk open and losing a few bags with VERY expensive items in them -- one of the valet workers got in the hotel's house car & chased us down to inform us that our bags had fallen behind and to come back to retrieve them. This was very impressive treatment that I usually do not receive at hotels. This hotel was clean and had very friendly/helpful workers. They also hooked my family up with free transportation to Venice and Santa Monica beach as well as allowing us to rent bikes for free! Highly recommend. :)
