We had a great experience at Lancaster Archery. They outfitted our family with two recurve bows and one compound bow for us to take back to Australia. We needed good beginner equipment and they spent hours with us, explaining our options and demonstrating everything. My 7 year old shot a bow for the first time and ended up chanting 'I love archery' by the end of the afternoon. Fantastic service, patient instruction, good prices, happy customers!

Joe Coleman was fantastic and very professional on the phone. He was very knowledgeable about Traditional Archery and was a deciding factor for me in my quest into an ILF Hoyt Satori and ILF longbow limbs. Thanks again. Can't wait to receive the product but an overall great experience.

What I like is that once a busy tech is available, they don't rush you but patiently help. They won't move on until you are satisfied. Very knowledgeable staff.

Went to get verifier peep sight put in my bow and the tech couldn't do enough to help me find the right power. Not only did he take the time to set-up my sight, but he noticed that my bow was not set-up right for draw length and weight. I will not say say what store chain did it wrong initially, but thank you Lancaster Archery for taking the time to do things right and proper. Yes, its a long drive from my house to get to shop, but well worth time and effort and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Again thanks guys, you will be seeing me in the future for all my archery needs and hunting supplies.

Amazing customer service! Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. They helped me load my large purchases and tie them down so they were secured for my journey home.

First, the good.
-The staff were beyond helpful and knowledgeable of everything.
-In the end, I got a solid, quality beginner bow for cheaper than the website had stated.
-The guys that assisted me were kind and patient, even going as far to check --twice-- for the specific limbs with my draw weight.
Now, the bad.
-It took over an hour to get everything settled, and the amount of staff there was relatively small.
-The is a queue system for asking questions and purchasing, however, its existence was unclear until I had to ask.
-It took quite a long time for something that should've taken half an hour. There were barely any people at the store.
All in all, it's a quality shop and they helped me get a quality bow that I could afford, and the staff were beyond helpful. If the customer service and speed of such were increased, it'd be much better.response / report this review -

Excellent place ! If you are in the archery world you need to come here. Service is top notch. I am a recurve archer and this place is my go to for all questions and needs. Beautiful shop. Also the archery academy coachs are wonderful!

Fantastic experience, ordered the wrong size rhino pins, contacted their service dept, they issued me a return authorization, shipped them back but the item was on backorder, they communicated with me letting me know so, shipped them to me as soon as were in Stock! Super pleased with these guys, hands down the best in the business

I ordered some Gold Tip arrows from the clearance section, and they turned out to be defective. Lancaster refunded my purchase and shipping completely without even making me hassle with sending the arrows back. Amazing customer service, top notch. I would recommend to anyone.

Took the beginners class and it was a blast. The instructor was very nice and explained things in different ways to accommodate different learning abilities. I would highly suggest going if you want to learn. They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. Not only about taking classes but if you want to buy any equipment also.
