Clean and quiet. Easy access from interstate.
We did a stop over due to rv being repaired at Stoops Freight-liner. Gravel sites pretty level.
Very reasonably priced as well. Cable tv, full 50 amp hook up and WiFi.
Would definitely stop in again if in area.
Sarah was nice to us. Kindness is a very high moral quality to me. We are new to travel trailers, so she was kind to help us in talking and guiding us. She worked and found us a site that we love and is safe. So because of Sara's kindness and helpfulness, I recommend this place. We also respect the safety rule of driving slow. I dont like water, but for those that do like water, there is a large pond here. We are at a site that is far from the highway noise and the pond. There were no filthy disease geese pooping in human proximity. Now the internet is not that good, but it is free so can't complain. We have cable with The Weather Channel included. That's our favorite channel. Tiny kids are here also so do observe the safety speed limit because you know how fun and lively kids are. So drive safe watching out for darting kids. Kids do dart, it's just what they do, so keep an eye on them. We love dogs and seen many people with dogs. In the laundromat, there are 6 washers and 6 dryers. Right now the cost to wash laundry is 1.75 and 1.50 to dry. They use quarters. Laundromat has a nice table and chairs to relax at while you do your laundry. A plus is there is a thriving Fire Department right by the camp if you need help. I'm allergic to bee stings, so I hope The Fire Department has the shots. I really like The Fire Department here. You don't have to drive on dangerous Harding street because there are alternate roads to take. There is a Ferrell Propane Dispensery within a few minutes drive. Also very helpful is a 24 hour dentist just down Edgewood by Wal-Mart. There is a Wal-Mart also down the road with a Dollar Tree in the same parking lot. I had to go to dentist at 2:30 in the morning. Also, we are a gay married family, and Sarah was respectful of us. There is water, sewer, electric hookups. Because of Sarah's kindness to us, we highly recommend this beautiful relaxing paradise. If your kids are autistic, keep them away from the pond, there's no fence around the pond. I hear water is alluring to autistic people. All in all I recommend this destination.
Beautiful, spacious suburban park with nice gravel and grass spots for campers. If you're not expecting a silent rural experience and a little traffic noise won't bother you, you will love it here.
Beautiful park, very clean and quiet. Laundry and showers very clean. Location is very convenient for getting around to all the local attractions.
We arrived after hours, so the office was closed, but they had all of our information in the mailbox. It was good we prepaid too. We had no issues!
I visited someone that was staying here. It was clean and well kept. It appeared to be very full this Summer. A bit noisey being so close to a highway but still a nice place.
Paved main road, side roads and sites are gravel. Sites close together. Nice lake. We called to make reservations and told the person that we were 45 feet long with a toad and did not want to unhook as we were spending only one night. She told us on the phone no problem but when we got there and got our site we did not fit. There were other sites available that were bigger but we could not change and yet the sights remained empty.
Well maintained. Gravel sites that are level and spacious. It's right by a fire station but there was very little disturbance from sirens. Easy to get in and out of park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't use the shower or the laundry facilities. Definitely would stay here again. We stayed 7 days.
Only takes 2000 or newer rv's. Was full of year round campers with a long waiting list.
$32/night for a pull thru 50amp FHU site. Picnic tables at each. Nice lady in the office. Convenient location and big rig friendly. 24hr laundry on site.
Convientiently located. Friendly staff. Nicely laid out lots and roads. Great rates. Good Sam.
This is our second visit to this park. After having difficulties the last time we stayed here with entering and exiting our assigned parking site, we specifically requested a "pull through site" and were assured of a site that would be easy to enter and exit because of an extremely tight travel schedule requiring us to leave before daybreak. Upon arrival at the sight on Sunday, #92, we were unable to enter the site and had to disconnect the tow car prior to going into the site. We also found the site to be very unlevel. We only used the electrical hook up because of our very early departure the following morning. There was no place to park our tow car and we had to park between the coach and a picnic bench to get it out of the way of traffic. This park is unfit for big rigs due to the numerous boulders at each turn in an attempt to keep visitors off of the grass. Our departure was delayed some 2 hours the next morning as we we had to wait until light to back out of the site and exit in the opposite direction of traffic in order to reach the front of the park to connect our car. In addition, we were contacted by our credit card company that the park had doubled charged us. When we mentioned the double charge to the park we were told they had already corrected it. This remains to be seen.
I'm about to finish up a 10 week stay here Dec 16, 2015. The facilities had all I needed with no complaints. This time year, it isn't the most appealing in appearance but it isn't from a lack of effort. Luis is always out fixing, cleaning and just plan working every day on the grounds. In office, Sara has been very pleasant, helpful and informative to others as well as me.
I've had a nice stay and enjoy the location as well.
