In a post radio shack world it's become very hard to find those odds and ends electronic parts that you need. The store is well stocked and the staff are knowledgeable. Definitely my first stop when I have need of parts, wish I'd have known about this place earlier!

ABOVE & BEYOND!!! I had a problem with a Everfocus CCTV product I bought 3 years earlier. Glen helped me troubleshoot my issue, and when we decided the product was not working properly. they gave me a HUGE discount on a replacement. THANK YOU!!!

I was pretty excited to learn a town as small as Lafayette had a small electronics store like this. I went a little over a month ago looking for some odd value capacitors to repair my LCD monitor. The staff was somewhat helpful- there were three employees in the store and they seemed to just be hanging out. Honestly, I felt a little like I interrupted them by walking in.

They didn't have the part I wanted in stock, which was not surprising or unexpected, it was an uncommon value. They suggested I try to order it online. I figured I'd ask if they could order it for me, and they said sure and then they took my name and number. I never heard from them again.

If you need a common component or cable, you could try them out, their stock isn't too bad and they seemed to know what they were talking about. But unless you are in a pinch, I'd pass on them and just go online or head over to Radio Shack. The atmosphere in the store was a bit unfriendly, and I have better places to spend my money than at a place that didn't seem to really care.

The employee with whom I dealt was extremely helpful. When I called late in the business day to find out whether they stocked an item I urgently needed, he even offered to stay a little past the store closing time if I couldn't get there by exactly 5. When I arrived at the store, the employee offered clear explanations about the items I needed.

I want to support local business and I really want to like this store but they just never have what I need. For instance I needed some standard spade connectors. They only had the female connectors and not the matching male connector. Turns out they don't even stock the male connector! That was one example but I've tried to do business with these people for years and I always leave empty handed. My friends all say the same thing. The reality is that if your looking for something specific especially small electronic components your probably better off ordering your parts online from places like Digikey, Mouser, or Newark. If you really need it today drive to Fry's Electronics in Indy that place is awesome.
