The place is okish to stay. It has lot of faults. Every house has one or the other issue. The rent payment site is not well maintained either. But the good part is the management is kind and supportive.

Pleasant and affordable place to stay for students, close to campus, and shops, movie halls, etc. However, rooms do not have insulation.

I can't put more emphasis when saying DO NOT LIVE HERE. I was planning on living there my junior year at Purdue, and upon move in, found the place in horrible shape. It really makes me wonder how long it took them to search for a clean enough apartment for the photos on the website, because my apartment did not look like that at all. The trim on the main doorway was missing pieces and was falling apartment. The walls and doorways were filthy and covered in hand prints and smudges. There were holes in all the closet doors. The oven did not have the proper mounting components for the range and could not be used. And then the worst part, the mold. There was mold visible at the baseboards of almost all rooms and closets, the dishwasher was full of mold, and there was moldy paint peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. Because of all this, the air quality was horrible. So bad in fact that my roommate's dad got sick the say after moving us in. We didn't even end up moving in, we told them all the problems, which they didn't seem phased by, and gave us a full refund. What they really made a mistake of was telling us how they were taking care of the mold, which they mentioned was occurring in many of the apartments. They told us that they paint over all the mold. That is not how you get rid of mold. You have to either replace the drywall, scrub it off, and have a certain machine in the empty apartment by itself for days that will remove the moisture. And the craziest thing was, as soon as they gave us our refund checks, they mentioned that someone new had already moved back in within a day of telling them all those problems, which means they did not clean in there at all. IF YOU ARE A PURDUE STUDENT, DO NOT LIVE HERE. You can so so much better. If you have a car, I recommend the Avenue. It's a very similar price and so much nicer. Do not force yourself to live in those conditions and the horrible neighborhood that it is in.

I comfortably stayed here for 6 months and got my deposit back. It's a nice property, specially the 8th building that faces the beautiful Wabash River.

Terrible place to live. It's like living in the ghetto. Dirty pool can't swim in it. No net for the volleyball posts. Smell of beer n pot all around outside. Been waiting 2 months for ACs to be fixed in the middle of summer. Cockroaches all over the place. The only security they claim that they have is a dumb ass walking around with a dog.

I have been living here for over 8 months and it is a great apartment. Since it is more of a family housing than student housing, the rooms are bigger and the rent is cheaper. You can't possible find anything cheaper than this within a mile from Purdue. Also most low star reviews are based on low apartment quality but honestly even the expensive ones are dirty so don't expect any better and most importantly, the staff here is great. I needed some repairs in my apartment and they did it promptly while others just see it as an opportunity to rip you off and may charge you for expensive repairs. Also it has unlimited parking.

Far away from the Purdue campus. Need to walk a lot. Ambience at the entrance not so good.

Lived here for over a year, never had any problems. I'm a stupid college student who breaks everything and it's always so fast to get it fixed. Today someone came to fix my garbage disposal less than 1 hour of me putting in a work order. great price for being so close to campus

Upon moving in August, my roommate and I were immediately greeted with a moldy water smelling apartment. We did not have a working toilet or a working dryer. We put in maintenance requests within the first 2 days of receiving our key and our toilet was not properly fixed until the spring semester when the parts for the toilet finally came in, however they came into our apartment multiple times prior to "fix" it. It was never properly fixed so we had to continue requesting for our toilet to be fixed. Our toilet would not stay filled with water so every time you wanted to flush you would have to refill the reservoir then flush it properly within a certain time period or you would have to do it all over again. We later found out multiple people were having the same problems with their toilets, all which they waited to fix in spring. The dryer was never properly fixed. It can only dry on one setting now, but we took this as a win considering at first you could put your clothes in for 3 hours and they would still be damp. When fixing our dryer in early September they found a dead bird in the shaft somewhere, which they claimed was part of the reason our dryer was not drying. Lastly our water would not stay hot. We put in a request for this and maintenance told us that they had a single water heater for 2, 2 bedroom apartments and that unless they replaced the water heater to accommodate more people, we would still have the problem. To me this is ridiculous, hot water should be consistently ready and in the future I will never live in a place with shared water heaters. These were our initial issues with Waterfront besides the moldy ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom which they knew about and never fixed. Next issue besides the horrible maintenance was the pool. The pool was not open once this summer and when I asked about it upon returning my key the people in the front office were immediately rude. First they said the reason the pool was broke was because of a crack that they could not fix since it was raining all summer. I have been here all summer so I factually know there were plenty of warm nice days since April to fix the pool and get it up and running. Also they said the home owners association pays for the pool and not our rent. I am not sure if they think they can pull a fast one over students, but I do know that when you move into a complex you are then automatically apart of the home owners association and pay fees for it therefore my rent was paying for the pool that I did not get to use once. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and technically not legal. The worst part besides the horrible maintenance was the rudeness of the staff. They fail to take responsibility for anything on top of their atrocious attitudes. I highly recommend you look further or you will regret your decision of staying in these apartments.
