Wonderful FREE little zoo to spend the afternoon at. Excellent education center for kids birthday parties or other events. Super friendly and helpful staff! My favorite part has to be the wallaby walkabout where you can roam with the wallabies.

There is much to do here. Water fountains attract children while a gift store attracts adults. Viewable enclosed animals include eagles, prairie dogs, lemurs, exotic birds, local turkey vultures and an otter pool with underwater viewing window. A walk-through Australia-themed area with wallabies and emus. An interactive butterfly habitat and a miniature farm are great fun to involve everyone in viewing and petting pygmi goats, rabbits, chickens, a llama and a potbellied pig. There is a restroom and a drinking fountain.

Beautiful zoo with cool animals. Hanging out in the family farm with the goats is the highlight of my week. The staff is extremely kind and willing to answer any questions. There is a lot to see and do here and I recommend coming to anyone who loves animals.

Enjoyable zoo. My kids come back several times a year to see the otters, butterflies, and petting zoo. Good gift shop and no admission charge. Looking forward to the planned new exhibits in the future (penguins, big cata, and primates).

This zoo is one of the best little zoos we have visited. Access to the animals is awesome. Very clean and child friendly.

Bring extra clothes for kids. There are fountains in the sidewalk. Knowledgeable staff. Reasonable gift shop sells tickets for park train rides. Great place to kill a few hours.

Staff is really nice & the scenery is beautiful for pictures. But some animals i wanted to see weren’t even there, like the otters. otherwise it’s really fun and i definitely suggest you check this place out!

I have enjoyed going here since I was a child. I remember when the layout was different, but I like this layout better. I enjoy this zoo more than I do the Indianapolis zoo. Yes it's a small zoo, but the animals seem genuinely happy. The staff are also very helpful.

Nice little community zoo located in a central park area of Lafayette. Staff has always been friendly when asking them about memberships, animals, etc. The grounds are particularly clean and well-maintained. Animals all seem to be well taken care of and enjoying life. Nice place to go when you have an hour and the weather is great!
