This was a blast! Totally stumbled upon this quirky bus tour by accident when we were walking downtown. This isn't something I would have normally done, but we were in town for my sisters Bachelorette party and I thought this might be fun to do with our group so we signed up for a "tour". The guide was hilarious and we ate it up! I can see why this town has a rep for being weird- def. recommend.

I am a long time resident of Asheville. 10 years in total. And I know all the tourist traps. I will say this, La Zoom is a legit fun experience. You’ll want to be trapped on the bus. You’ll find there is almost always a local taking a tour. Why? Because it’s funny, and worth every penny. It’s unlike any bus tour of any city. The staff is hilarious. This should be on your list if you’re visiting. ❤️

Took the daytime comedy tour and had a blast. Cookie was a fantastic and very entertaining tour guide. Got to see some great parts of beautiful Asheville. Would highly recommend this tour, and don't forget to being the beer.

My family and I, squeezed together and mocked as the "Three Little Pigs," were unsure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when the fabulous Rhonda made her way up the stairs and took over this hell of a tour! You learn some legit history while also being entertained by some fantastic improv performers. Definitely a must do for your first time in Asheville, but be warned, the jokes are unafraid and raunchy. Must have a great sense of humor to fully enjoy this crazy ride. Shoutout to the Bumblebee for whatever the heck that was!

A must go tour if you are new to Asheville! Perfect for those who love comedy mixed in with a touch of history if you go on their standard tour and love the nostalgia of being in a repurposed school bus! Typically 90 mins long, I’d recommend getting some snacks and drinks before climbing aboard, but there is an intermission half way where you can stop at Green Man Brewery to buy more drinks, use restrooms, or just get up and stretch those legs!
I went during the day, but the night tour looks pretty awesome! Check out their website for information on booking but act fast since time slots disappear fast!response / report this review -

Just happened to stop in lazoom bar & gorilla out of curiosity and ended up taking their band & beer bus! The bar and gorilla room is such a fun, quirky place to grab a beer and Kyle the bartender gave us the scoop on the local breweries. The band that was on the bus- shake it like a caveman- played fun bluesy-funky-rock and kept us bumpin the whole way to the two breweries we visited (highland and wedge). The guide for the trip was hysterical and kept us all together having a great time. Would take again any day 10/10!

My girlfriend and I went on the 5 o'clock comedy tour and enjoyed it so much that we went on the 7:30 haunted comedy tour. Rhonda on the comedy was hysterical and Bobby Bones on the haunted tour was absolutely perfect. Just enough "adult" comedy to keep it hilarious but classy!! Would recommend Lazoom Tours to every single person to EVER visit Asheville!!! Time of our lives!!

A really good show, both the day and evening tours are really good. Really friendly staff and not to mention, they are pretty dag on funny. Best laughs we had on our trip, and actually learned a good bit of history while having fun.

I live around Asheville and have seen the Lazoom bus around for years but just tried it for the first time today. Definitely worth the money and time. I should have done it a lot sooner. Great thing to do whether you're a local or a tourist.

My wife and I went on the City Comedy Tour and really enjoyed it. The hosts are engaging and make the tour interactive and interesting. We learned a lot and laughed a lot.

I went on the comedy tour with my boyfriend last Tuesday and the haunted comedy tour the next day and we saved $5 off on both tickets because we went on a tour that same week! The tour is hilarious. It is definitely worth the money. You will learn a majority of the history of Asheville in an hour or so. I loved it!!

Went on the haunted tour last night and it was HILARIOUSLY funny!!! Very quick impromptu humor and some scripted. Definitely worth the money!
