I took my 2 year old grandson into the store while my sister and her daughters shopped. He did not bother anyone, even when asking questions constantly. They were very helpful. Great place to shop.

** READ THIS REVIEW!**
You just don't find many people like this anymore. I & five friends showed up on Saturday of Easter weekend to rent canoes for a day. We discovered after getting there that Easter Sunday was one of only three days a year they're closed, & we wouldn't be able to return them. Rather than let our plans be ruined, Brian & a couple other employees agreed to take time out of their Easter Sunday to run up to the shop for us to drop them off. If that wasn't enough, they let us borrow a trailer for the boats so we wouldn't have to make multiple trips. Who goes out of their way like this for strangers? These are just GOOD PEOPLE and by the way, the shop is awesome. Killer gear that's very hard to find in brick & mortar stores anymore. Go there.response / report this review -

Great staff, Brian Searcy (the owner) is also an outdoorsman and very knowledgeable about equipment and he sells some of the best money can buy. If you are serious about having outdoor gear you can bet your life on (like Winter hiking and camping in the mountains) this is the place to go.

The staff have always been the shining stars of this retailer. Going up to the mountains you don't have many choices on this side of town, but they don't use this as a reason to be just good enough, they're great !
