My goodness. On initial check in, all that was available was smoking rooms. The first room I went to was missing the mattress and bedding. There was box spring mattress, I'll give them that. Also, there was a complimentary Trojan prophylactic left by the previous occupant in the center of the box spring at that. The second room was in fair condition. It contained roaches.

Easily accessible from Interstate 10. Rooms and facility is somewhat dated but the room was neat and clean. No refrigerator or microwave. Bathroom was clean and the towels were fresh. Popular selections for viewing on television. Easy and instantaneous hookup to wifi. Rooms are currently being refurbished. Outside entances to rooms. Heating and air conditioning worked satisfactorily. Breakfast was microwave prepackaged waffles, yogurt, plain bagel and cream cheese, etc. Cereal and packaged instant grits along with milk, orange juice and coffee also available. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Three stars are for dated facility but then again pretty much everything is dated in Tallahassee. Would stay there again.

Good hotel for the price. Just make sure you book in advance. Also it's awesome that they are pet friendly! Good luck finding a better pet friendly one. The breakfast was not that great but it was breakfast. But overall good price and good location next to I 10.

Staff was competent. Rooms are dated, but they are remodeling a few rooms at a time. Saw two bugs in the room. 2 restaurants within reasonable walking distance. It was quiet and favorably priced

The room was spacious, relatively clean, pet friendly with no additional charge. My biggest complaint is the colony of homeless people close to the edge of the parking lot. After discovering this & reporting to manager, she told us there was nothing they could do about it, although there had been numerous complaints previously. There were no on property security guards. Although room was comfortable & relatively clean, wouldn't stay there again due to this on property threat & lack of managerial concern. Will post photos of the area later.

I made these reservations for my husband and I let the front desk know that it would be a late check in so please do not let his room go. He arrived around 2:30 Saturday morning, was given a room on the third floor, opened the door to find this room was filthy and was not cleaned from the night before. He went back down to the front desk and was placed in a new room. Our weekend was crazy, in town for a wedding, and today was the first day I had time to call and address this situation. Also to see why we still had a hold on our credit card for incidentalsI called the front desk and spoke to someone about the hold and was told it should be coming off because it was released on their endwhich was understandable. I then wanted to address the filthy room he was checked into. I expressed my concerns to her and she never once said I’m so sorry this happened, this sort of thing never happens, I see it in the notesnot a word.nothingnothing at all. So she then decides to tell me if I’m calling to get somethingthen that’s when I interrupted herNo I’m not calling to reimbursed to get something for freeif that was the case I would have said thatI’m calling because obviously this was swept underneath the rug and was not dealt with and this looks bad on a business. We stay in La Quinta all of the time and have wonderful experiences and this stay was very disappointing. If proper protocols are not followed then how can things be fixed and corrected? So I asked to speak to the managershe laughed in my face and placed me on hold to be sent to a generic voicemail.I’m sure to fall upon deaf ears.

Came from the motel 6 across the street which was a hell whole. But this place was great. Nice rooms and beds, clean and comfy especially for the price. The staff was nice and the breakfest was good. If your looking for a good clean room with nice staff and comfortable bed for a good price this place is where to go.

Wonderful hotel! Older hotel, but very clean and reasonably priced. I left a toiletry bag hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Robin contacted me as soon as housekeeping found it and had it overnighted via FedEx to our next destination. That's why we stay at La Quinta Inns. Always great service.

My wife and I are staying in a Tallahassee location due to us needing to find a house because we relocated on military orders and requested the non-smoking room because neither her or I smoke. We got to our room, in which we are staying for 7 days, and it smells like smoke and some type of aerosol spray that is supposed to cover it up. I am disgusted with this hotel. Its old, disgusting, and falling apart. There are huge stains on the floor and on the furniture, they refused to clean. They lost our information and knocked on the door at 1am to ask about the room because they showed they don't have it booked tonight, so at 1am they come strolling up cause we are usually up partying like the rest of the hotel apparently, we were sleeping People are loud and on the balcony drinking and smoking weed and cigarettes. Security didn't do anything to calm them down when we called so we have had lack of sleep since being here. We can hear every little thing that goes on outside, so there is no sleeping in, and worst of all, the toilets being flushed next to us and above us, we can hear all of it, including the showers. It is a horrible experience and we will never be back.

Regrettably, I did not read the reviews before we chose to stay here. There were very few rooms available nearby, so we couldn't leave. The room was filthy. Bugs, hair in the shower, the toilet smelled like pee. She shower was so disgusting, I made my daughter shower in her flip flops. It was visibly very dirty, probably has not been cleaned in months. I used a baby wipe and the grime was easily removed. The room smelled musty, the thermostat was set at 68 when we walked in, but it felt more like 80. I think it goes without saying, I will sleep in my car before I sleep here again. Very disappointed with LaQuinta. They used to be a safe choice. Judging by the past comments, they have no intentions of correcting these problems. People have been complaining for months and nothing has changed.

We like the location, the little labyrinth you did go to get to your room and the late time to checkout. There are two thinks they could be better: Eggs by breakfast and an own yeti in the room.

Musty old room. Had a dying roach on the floor when we entered. But at least he was dying so they exterminate. Dead bugs in bathroom, no bed bugs yea!!! In desperate need of ground up remodel.

The first room smelled of mildew which front desk stated was a bad smelling cleaning solution. The second room smelled fine initially then after the perfume died down smelled like mildew when the a/c came on. The second night, after 9 pm, group was having a pool party. Looked up the property on google and found a shooting happened 4 nights ago here. Never again. I'll pay the higher price for peace, quiet, health and safety.
