Met a good friend who was staying at Aloft. Had a drink and played some pool while waiting for other people in our party to arrive at the hotel. Lobby was very nice and staff was very professional.

Cool hotel. Definitely New. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was something was up with the toilet upon arrival. It flushed, but it was just really hard to push down the handle. Then wehn you managed to, something hit the toilet top really hard. Not a deal breaker or anything.

Solid choice for stating downtown Tallahassee.

    I stayed Mon - Fri

Different than your average hotelin a good way! Unique lobby setting! Excellent location! Short drive to a wide variety of eateries! We really enjoyed our stay here as it is a most unique hotel with unique rooms and amenities! The staff was friendly and accomodating. Parking is readily available, although much of it is in a lower level lot with steps. The pool and outdoor fireplace is really a beautiful addition to this hidden gem in the city! Take a look at the photos I posted and you will see for yourself how nice it is.

I had a wonderful past weekend. Mrs.Christine who serviced my room left it beautiful clean and omg the smell was so refreshing. If I could give 10 stars I would give her 10. Beautiful person very helpful and kind. Overall great stay.

The rooms are small but clean. The staff was extremely accommodating and nice. We enjoyed our stay and so did our dogs.

The entire hotel is very modern, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. There is a coffee shop and a bar in the lobby, open seating, and even musicians who come in and play. The staff are very nice and talk to you like people instead of customers. It was a very pleasing experience.

I stayed at this hotel once before in 2015 and had a great stay, and I can say just as much for this time! This is a young, vibrant hotel so if you're looking for a sleepy place with a quiet lobby then you're looking in the wrong place. I honestly don't have anything but praise for this hotel. The decor in the lounge and rooms is fun and stylish, the rooms are cool (temperature wise), and the beds are more comfortable than my own! I guess if I had to complain about something, it would be the bathroom setup. A non-locking, sliding door to the bathroom doesn't feel very private to me. If you're looking for a young, comfortable hotel check this one out.

Great place pretty close to the FSU campus. My family has stayed here every move in day. They also allow dogs so I'm able to keep my dog in the room. The only problem is that the AC unit makes a lot of noise and you can hear sirens from the street boarding every night. There's also some mold growing on the soap dispensers, but it's not too much of an issue. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Getting in was a bit rockyour rooms weren't right once we got in them, but management jumped right in there and made it right. My loyalty was sealed when I saw that Aloft houses rescue dogs (one at a time) in the lobby to get them adopted out to a family! Love it!

The lobby looked clean when we walked in, but smelled like someone had fried chicken all day. This meant that I now smelled like fried chicken. Check in was smooth. The hallways to the room feel damp as if they are not climate controlled. The bed was fine. The room itself felt like it wasn't climate controlled. I was cold and damp all night. What did it for me was the bathroom. The bathroom has a fabric covered wall that had a brownish yellow crusty stain on it. I wasn't impressed. Will not stay at another aloft hotel.

Nice room, comfortable firm bed. Cool vibe in the lobby/bar/snack bar area. Negatives : A.c. unit was loud and hard to get a comfortable setting. 71 was too cold and the loud fan ran constantly. 72 blew out heat, still loud fan but scorching room. And during the night it shut off completely. Loud street noise didnt keep me awake but when I was awake it was extremely noisy. Vanity very low for me and I am only 5'9". But overall a nice place with just a few negatives .

So far this gets 4 stars out of 5. The lobby is very modern, though it feels kind of disorganized. The prices on their breakfast items are super high ($10 for a breakfast sandwich). That being said, the rooms feel like if IKEA made cruise ship cabins, like the bigger sized ones, which is by far not a bad thing. They're very comfortable and modern, and feature things like easily accessible inputs to do things like plug my laptop into the TV to watch movies, a decent sized shower with non slip tiles in the shower and the rest of the bathroom area, and a large mirror (which actually is the sliding bathroom door). Parking does cost extra ($5 parking charge) and the parking space at this hotel is a bit limited. All in all, nice place and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Sparse Japanese-style rooms, but clean and technologically well equipped. Large, cozy lobby. Ample conference room and two breakouts. Limited pre-made food items for breakfast from cooler like egg sandwiches and baked goods and coffee/tea. Good sandwiches made at bar.
