Decent motel, Staff very friendly and helpful. Motel is a little dated, but clean. Breakfast was disappointing , no scrambled eggs, no bacon.

I needed somewhere to stay for the night. La Quinta was the cheapest room I could find in Layton. It was not my first time staying there. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price, the clean rooms, the breakfast and the friendly staff, thanks.

Amazing room, very comfortable and clean. Also who doesn't love a free hot breakfast! Will pick La Quinta next time we travel. Loved the hospitality and amenities.

Location was right beside I15 and very easy to get to. Room was spacious and very clean. Price was reasonable! Would highly recommend!

Stayed here for 3 days, the room was wonderful. Comfortable beds, pillows. I was sleeping on a cloud, the pool and spa were wonderful and clean. The housekeeping friendly and curious. Front desk was very friendly and pleasant, breakfast was filling and enjoyable. I recommend this stay, if were back in layton, this will be the only place i stay.

Very clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Shopping and many restaurants near by. Great personnel. I would recommend La Quinta Layton Utah to anyone looking for an awesome hotel.

The rooms are great and have basic needs. Wonderful breakfast. Also has a hot tub and pool indoors. Would go again if we are around the area.

Clean and pet friendly. Stopped here overnight. I found the staff to be nice and helpful. Continental Breakfast was okay. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value. Would stay here again.

Lady at front desk didn't even get my ID when I checked in and unfortunately I actually locked myself out on accident. When I went to request a new key the other receptionist after shift change informed me that my information was all incorrect. Address was listed in Rochester NY! I'm from Kalispell Mt! So she had to escorts me to my room to get my ID. thankfully even though the info didn't match she was understanding and had mercy on me, but really?! Just make up a last name and address?! Who does that?! The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because they are pet friendly. Staff is terrible though :/

It was a nice hotel if you needed a place to sleep. Breakfast was decent, the pool area looked nice and it was easy to get to from the interstate. Rooms were ok. The shower heads were put in really low and I'm short. I'd stay here again.

The problems started with the overcrowded eating area that's right between the entrance and the elevators. The toilet in our first room wasn't even attached to the floor. The second room had a raunchy old urine stain on the toilet, and the shower drained very slowly. The furniture is stained and torn. The housekeepers I talked to complained that 4 had quit the week before. With the lack of maintenance, the delapitated furniture, and the inability to hire and retain cleaning staff, I smell a problem with management. It will take some convincing to get us back in a La Quinta.

Breakfast was good. Service was nice. But the cleaning staff is extremely sub par. First room had dog hair all over and in the bed. Other room had leftover half melted food in the freezer and an Ozone generator in the room. Ozone (O3) is deadly when inhaled, had we not noticed the machine and turned it off we would have died in our sleep. NOT GOOD! Thankfully we were curious and informed the front desk staff.

We didn't really love our stay here. I was hoping it would be okay but there was just to many things about the hotel that made us want to spend as much time away from it as possible. They allow dogs. I don't mind dogs but you could smell dogs when you went in the front lobby. I bet we saw at least 20 different dogs during our time there. Also the rooms are old and kind of grimy. You can see from my pictures that the doors look old and rusty, the vents are grimy and dusty even in the lobby and it just feels like an old hotel. The door to the bathroom had a broken lock. We forgot to take the 'do not disturb" sign out of our door and so on night 2 we needed to grab some towels. The attendant at the front desk saw us walking to our room with pool towels and had a hard time understanding why we needed more towels when we had pool towels. I was hoping the kids could shower and dry off with a clean towel rather than one that was wet with chlorinated pool water. While I was trying to talk her into giving me towels she kept screaming at some kids on the 2nd floor that were running. There were a couple of things going on in the SLC area so all the hotels were booked so we were grateful that this one still had a room for us but we would prefer to stay at a different one next time.

La Quinta is a good, cozy hotel. I've always had a pleasant experience there. They've seemed to have done some minor upgrades that have given it a fresher look. They have a pool and hot tub. That's always a plus. They're rooms are comfortable but not large. It's clean. The staff aren't remarkably friendly but they've never been rude either. They have continental breakfast in the mornings. It's very close to food and shopping. The Layton Hills mall is right around the corner. There are many restaurants to choose from and it's literally right off the freeway. Only a 25 drive to Salt Lake. I'd stay here again.
