Normally I would have rated this hotel higher, as I have stayed here in the past. But I came here this weekend to get a much needed break. There was a large group of kids here on a ski trip. I am all about kids having fun. But after not sleeping well the night before, I was trying to rest in the afternoon. For almost two straight hours the kids were running up and down the hall, being loud, slamming their doors, etc. It was hard to believe their advisors couldn't hear them. The next morning around 6:30, the kids were back at it. The kids in the next room blasting their music, other kids in the hall being loud and some slamming doors. I finally went downstairs and asked the front desk to help. The following morning, the fire alarm went off briefly at around 6. The kids were up and about again, but this time being more quiet (only a few slammed doors and loud in the hall.) It was a very frustrating stay. I know kids need to have fun, but there's a time and place. NOT in the hall and not early in the morning. I wouldn't normally complain, but it was very frustrating and ongoing al weekend. As far as the staff goes, they were pleasant and helpful. I won't stay here again if there's a big group of kids.

The Layton hotel has nice rooms but it has weird smell through out. However the 1 star review is mainly because of the ignorant employees. My children and I wanted to sit down in the dining area to hang out and drink our coffee and hot chocolate only to be greeted by a angry lady saying she had just cleaned the area and we were not welcome . I simply stated no mess would be made and we'd clean up after ourselves. She rolled her eyes and told us to do whatever we want and stormed off. I contacted the front desk to let them know of the mistreatment and got nothing more than a awkward look and him walking away to hide . Pretty sad the mistreatment and lack of trained employees.

Great place to stay close to the SLC airport. They have on-site dining that was good for grabbing a bite without going back out in the cold. Room was wonderful and very comfortable!

This is a very nice hotel. The Hampton Inn Hotels are the most economical of the Hilton Brands. None the less they are Hilton Brands which means quality and service. I have enjoyed my stay here and would certainly stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, and the young lady that was working hard running around accommodating everyone was amazing! Unfortunately the night staff was very unpleasant and annoyed by my whole groups presence. The fire alarm went off for almost an hour which honestly wasn't a big deal but when we asked what was going on we got pretty much shrugged shoulders and an annoyed look. In the morning after the breakfast one of the kids in our party wanted some apple juice and the older lady was so rude and also annoyed he even asked! I will not be staying here again.

Nice hotel in Layton UT ! Hotel is located about 20 miles north of SLC and is easy to get to. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is friendly. There are numerous stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Overall pretty decent. It was clean and bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was just ok but it was free. The weekday free wine, beer, and light dinner was nice. The only real issue was the wifi was terrible, constantly dropping after properly connecting. Asked front desk they suggested connecting a different way same thing, it would work for 2-5 minutes then drop for a few seconds and reconnect which is super annoying. Even tried connecting with my Hilton honors info again no luck same issue.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn I was very pleasant. The room was very clean. Bathroom and amenities were clean and pleasant. The location just off the freeway was it very easy to find, but not too close to hear freeway noise. Excellent place to stay, will definitely stay there again.

Hotel lobby is very nice. We were given a warm welcome by the front desk agent. The room is clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Salt Lake city area.

The hotel is pretty nice, although it's not immaculate. The room was clean and organized. The pool is kinda small and only open until 10pm. The breakfast has lots of options and it's quality food.

They have the new system with electronic keysit doesn't work well just yet ..and they have old school t.v. without a guide so it's annoying. Everything else is great. Very clean and tidy

The staff were all very polite and did their best to be helpful. The room was great. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. My only complaint is that they didn't have DVD and/or Blu-Ray players available in the room or at the desk.

Rooms are nice. Showers are modern. Beds are comfy. Towels are not very soft. Internet is very poor. Staff are very nice. Breakfast is good. Conveniently close to Hill AFB.
