This is my second stay at a Baymont property in the last month in two different states. They are correctly rated a 2 star with consistent decor and cleanliness. The price is right for a place to sleep on cross country trips.
We reserved 2 rooms. One of the rooms inside was very nice, but the other room has half used bottles of shampoo, peeling paint on the walls, and the door was very hard to pull closed. Did not expect a Baymont to be an outdoor entrance to each room as that is not the typical Baymont. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but fine.
Housekeeping needs more training. Bathrooms needs more wipe down on tubs and floor mopped.
No trash bags in trash cans.
Dusty room
Defect on bathtub. Showing bubbled flooring as if water is underneath the tub.
Otherwise convenient location for shopping, fine dining and refueling.
The staff and customer service is great. Its awful trying to access the entrance from Woodruff Road if you are not on same side of the street as the property. My room was quiet and comfortable although it is not the cleanest hotel bathroom: I saw some black mold on the ceiling and the tub fixtures needed some repair. There were cigarette burns on the seat. Otherwise, its just enough for an overnight stay at a very accessible location.
Room was not clean. bathroom was terrible. I had to buy cleaner and Magic Eraser to clean the shower walls, and the tub before using. I dont think the bathroom had been cleaned in years. People just hanging out on the balconies talking loudly. Will not stay again, or recommend to anyone.
I checked in for an extended stay in June, I wish it were better than it turned out. The grounds and the room were acceptable, but the NOISE POLLUTION was crazy. I couldn't believe how bad it was, trucks picking up industrial dumpsters, and at 3 IN THE MORNING! !!!!## I was in shock, and I go to the front desk and they know all about the situation. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE SITUATION, in my life. Terrible. I would give it zero stars.
The lobby looks really nice for a Baymont. I've only stayed at a Baymont once before. The room is fairly clean, but you can definitely see the wear and tear. This particular place is not too business-traveler friendly. Their business center does not allow you to use USB drives. Other than that inconvenience, my stay there was okay.
Rooms are in good condition but laundry area is not locked up its just a closed door. Loud people all night long kept us awake. Our rooms refrigerator had the whole back wall frozen and was dripping so we didn't use the refrigerator. Morning food area is crowded but a good assortment of food. Hotel staff was very nice. Room keepers entered our room without knocking or asking permission while I was undressing and without a shirt on which scared me but other than that we enjoyed our stay. It was a good experience and the Hotel staff were nice.
The rooms are really nice inside. And I like the convenient location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and moviesclose to downtown. The staff was nice and the free breakfast really good. But it was down this little street right next the highway and an abandoned restaurant. So I did not feel safe walking. Also, the outside was not what I expected from a Baymount Inn. I recommend it but be warned about finding it on that tricky little street.
Last minute trip with no reservations but luckly we got a room. Front desk personal were very friendly with the natural Carolina Charm. Our room was comfortable and clean and I so enjoyed a hot late night bath which made my night. Checking out in the morning was quick, I didn't have time to sit and eat the free breakfast but grabbed a blueberry muffin for the road, it was delicious
