Quaint place! Out of the way! Nice for vacation!

Encountered 5 staff members during the stay. 2 different female desk staff were very nice. The other 3 employees were a male desk clerk and 2 room service staff- male was nosey and borderline disrespectful with sny remarks, room service staff entered room without knocking (we were not checked out and it wasn't time too.) Whirlpool tub was disgusting. Mold around tub and jets covered in brown gunk.
Update: 6 months later- still haven’t had any response from the company or franchise. I have tried to contact corporate with no luck. Haven’t stayed with them again, and probably won’t ever.response / report this review -

I had a wonderful stay there. Our room was clean. Front desk clerk was wonderful and understanding. The location of the facility was perfect close to home for a getaway for me and my husband.

Modern, clean room. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was the sound you could hear through the doors and walls. It was like other people were right there with you.

This was a great experience. The ladies at check in were very accommodating to our situation since we were evacuees. Their goal was to make our stay here comfortable and be one less thing to worry about. They waived the pet fee and upgraded our room to a suite at no extra charge since the initial reservation only accounted for one adult (I had 3 adults and 2 children). I'm truly thankful and grateful for their compassion and would put this hotel at the top of my list should I have to visit this area again.

Excellent service, great breakfast. The Holiday Inn was filled to capacity but the front desk still had time for personal service and kindness. The room was excellent and clean as a pin.

The room was very nice and contemporary. I really like that once I arrive they had my name on the board welcoming me. the front desk clerk was awesome. I was there on 5/20/2017. I will always go this hotel anytime I am in Anderson SC. keep up the good work

This hotel has the most comfortable beds. The pillows have the right amount of firmness and maintains its shape throughout the night. They have a pool and is near several fast food restaurants. It is a great getaway spot.

I didn't actually stay here but came because the listing on Google Maps said it was pet friendly. Turns out it isn't, so I just wanted to note that here as a heads up to other people with pets. The woman at the front desk was ultra friendly and they did have a list of the nearest pet friendly places in the area, so that was pretty convenient.
