The pita and sandwich fillings were both fresh and tasty. The falafel was cooked just right, and the french fries are amazing !!!

The people are friendly and the restaurant has a crunchy organic vibe. There are no tables -- just stools next to a bar that runs around the perimeter of this small store.
When we walked in we were greeted warmly. They were playing bachata, which I thought was a little strange, but I like bachata, so that was cool.
The falafel sandwiches are good, but there were a few things that prevented me from fully enjoying them, and falafel is one of my most favorite foods.
First, I love purple cabbage, but there was simply too much of it. The purple cabbage overpowered the sandwich, ruining the delicate flavors of tahini and falafel. Secondly, the purple cabbage was cooked with caraway seeds. I hate caraway seeds. Why do they do that? I've never heard of caraway seeds on a falafel sandwich before!
The falafels themselves were delectable and the tahini was wonderful. I've had falafel sandwiches that I've liked better, but these were OK, hence, the 3 star rating "A-OK".response / report this review -

Wow. Great falafel! I've had many terrible falafels but this is the best I've ever had. Didnt try any of their other stuff though. Will return.

The food was very well prepared and quick. Staff was prompt, attentive and friendly. Only thing is, it gets REALLY HOT in there during summer hours, even with the A.C. pumping.

All my shawafel dreams have finally come true! They don't always deliver to my area, but when I do it's like it's my birthday!
The chicken shawarma is amazing too. Ever since Brooklyn Pita closed, Park Slope had been sorely lacking anything this wonderful and authentic in the Middle Eastern food department.response / report this review -

I ordered an eggplant pita on Seamless for pickup. I arrived thirty minutes later when Seamless indicated the order would be ready and was told by the cashier that they hadn't even started making the order yet and that it would be at least another 15-20 minutes. He gave me some attitude when I asked to cancel the order. I do like their pitas, but I won't be going here again.

Terrible service, good falafel. I don't recommend sitting there, unfortunately I felt the staff purposely overcharged me at the Park Slope location. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time after looking into catering options. The staff didn't really care, I asked for a falafel plate and to substitute israeli salad instead of cabbage and 2 cokes for me and my bf. I did not meet the $10 minimum, I confirmed that my falafel and my 2 cokes and said yes it's still $9, he told me I could add a bigger salad for $3 extra to meet the $10 requirements. They gave me my falafel and 1 coke only. They told me I didn't order the other coke and completely forgot to give me my salad they told me to add on for $3. I'm not sure if they cared. Anyways it was very difficult there and they were speaking with each other in the background that I felt a bit uncomfortable. It's not a good place to go to.

Really amazing flavor and best pita I've had in the city. On smaller size and $7 for a sandwich but quick and comes with hummus and a ton of cabbage and usual toppings.

It took a long time to get my order on a Friday night. But the falafel was GOOD! And I even carried it home, so I ate it cold instead of hot and it was still good. So, go there.
