  Was at the resort for the weekend and went around looking for breakfast and Canoe on the Run was the closest and great place to go to. They have many selections of sandwiches and salads here. We came in for the breakfast sandwich on croissant and the breakfast wrap specials in the morning which was excellent. The food here was very fresh and their coffee is good. Definitely recommend if you're around the area

  This is a hidden gem. It's a lovely little local coffee shop, serving high quality coffee & a limited selection of baked goods, breakfast sandwiches & luncheon items. The food was very fresh and there are some vegetarian options too, a rarity in the area.

  Good sandwiches and salads. Friendly staff. Laid back Deep Creek atmosphere. We could ask for nothing more from one of our favorites to take out of town guests.

  This is by far DC's most well kept secret, still, though they've been around for more than 15 years. Ambiance, food, location, access feels like a mountain resort cafe should feel. The menu is excellent, variable and fresh. Our favorite lake eats location. Indoor and outdoor seating (great when the weather accommodates). Great music choices. Well decorated interior and we'll placed in the lake scenery to make you feel like you are actually at a lake resort. If I could give 6 stars I would. No lake view, but that's almost a plus. You should visit.

  Strawberry and kiwi salad was a 5 little piece of strawberry and 4 tiny pices of kiwi other was green stuff. for what I paid $7.15. I like this place, but this is first time I am trying there salad. What the ripe off??

  Food and coffee great. Service was not too good. It took 40 minutes to get our food and staff did not seem welcoming, in fact they seemed stressed.
