My family and I were visiting Deep Creek and discovered this gem. We ate every bit of food off our plates. Cat was an amazing host/server. If you want really good food—go to Annie’s.
Good pancakes. Where the locals go. Family-owned and -run. Neat old political posters on the walls. Great strawberry jam. Worth the drive.
We enjoyed our meal at this quiet restaurant. Great stop for a quick sit down meal.
Great place for a good country breakfast. Everything on the menu has been good. We've been coming here for years.
People are friendly, and food is fantastic, the way food should be. You may have a wait, but that's just fine cause it's worth the wait and very reasonable. See you next time 😊
Excellent, family-owned restaurant. Typical American comfort food, for a very reasonable price. I like to chat up the locals at these sorts of establishments, and they were very welcoming. I'll definitely return if I'm ever in the area.
Great food, quaint atmosphere, and friendly service. Also has a great selection of baked goods.
A hidden gem. If you're on your way to Deep Creek after passing through Accident, MD, stop in. You won't be disappointed.
Come here everytime I go to deep creek. Great country cooking. Large portions for cheap prices. Good service as well. Ma and pa type place.
Great spot for breakfast; worth the short drive from Deep Creek Lake if you are staying there. Service was fast and courteous, and portions were generous. Wall decorations are full of local character, a nice change from cookie-cutter chain restaurants.
I love their bacon!!!! Its thick and crispy, price is just a bit pricey, staff are friendly and the place has this country feel. This place is crowded during saturdays and sundays.
They sell awesome home made cookies and sweets.
Wish you were in Philly! Great home cooked meals. Breakfast and dinner amazing in their own regard. Try their blueberry pancakes, homemade toast with homemade strawberry jam, and their chicken dinners!
This place used to be a "must" for my husband and I to stop, but every time we have stopped in the last 8 months I have been more & more disappointed. And the prices must be creeping up because after I am disappointed with the food, I am disappointed with a bistro check at a hole-in-the-wall diner! My last straw was ordering "spicy" chicken tenders, because the tenders are usually decent but have little flavor and I always add salt. So the tenders come out COVERED in a doritos-looking orange powder that did not taste good. NEVER AGAIN!
Stopped here for breakfast while spending a weekend sightseeing around the area; great breakfast for a fantastic price! The homemade toast is phenomenal, and they have many homemade baked goods available to purchase to take home with you as well. This will be my new go-to breakfast stop for weekends spent exploring the region!
