Chico’s always serves very fresh and hot food. It’s one of my favorites and I stop by at least twice a week for lunch or dinner. Their staff is very friendly and the prices are great.

We were here recently to make a to-go order. We waited a little bit longer than the estimated time they gave us, which is fine but they forgot to pack our cheese dip. Which they replaced with beans. And they were kind of sweet? “The enmoladas” weren’t very good. The mole sauce had a bitter-y taste to it.. (it’s supposed to be slightly sweet, slightly spicy) and the cheese dip they pour on top of then made the whole thing taste kind of weird. I’d replace it with queso fresco or just shredded cheese. Our torta was quite tasty but a little greasy. Fries were good. Over all, it wasn’t that bad.. We might just need to try it again some other time judging by the other reviews.

Great street corner tacos. Very reasonable prices and I had great service during lunch. Plus the environment and decor is very nice for strip mall dining spot.

Outstanding service! Chico's has a good variety on the menu. The Fajitas Burrito was flavorful and filling. The Poblano Enchiladas were visually appealing and incredibly delicious!

I love this restaurant. Great food. Very attentive, fair prices and friendly staff. I think I'll go there again today. I usually cook and eat at home everyday, but I eat here on my day off of cooking. Love y'all at Chico's! See you soon!

Disappointed. Ordered the Al Pastor tacos specifically because I love pineapple salsa, when they arrived no salsa. Was told they were out, they offered to allow me to order another dish but the kitchen was a bit slow and I didn't want to wait while the rest of the family ate. What i had was good but not outstanding. Will try them again and hopefully it'll be better. If so I will update my review.

When you walk in it looks a little dirty, which is what you are looking for . This place has great food, good size portions, and a great place. Free chips and salsa is def a plus

Edible and fast.
Average on taste, Nothing special. Salsa is thin like tomato soup. Ordered the monster burrito. Chicken had no spice added. Tasted like baked chicken and lettuce.

UPDATE:

This place used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Huntersville area. We'd go 2/3 times a month. Sadly the last time we went will probably be our last time eating there. Service was just ok, but the food quality had taken a nose dive. we talked to our server about it and nothing happened, so for now Adios to Chicos.

The food was ok and reasonably priced. However, the service was excellent. Only one server was on the floor the entire time but he did the work of 4 people. He was smooth and never missed a chance to ensure we had everything we needed. Even our extra requests were met with a smile!
I would have given 4 stars but the bathrooms were deplorable, and the restaurant also could use a good cleaning. The female hostess did nothing to help throughout our entire meal except walk around with her cell phone. Maybe she should do some cleaning instead!
