So comfortable. We’ve come for approximately 5 years in a row to meet our family for Christmas. Complimentary wine hour in the evening, coffee in the morning, a posh lounge to hang out in. Staff is extra helpful. You can borrow complimentary bikes, kayaks from the hotel. There are a lot of special touches and perks when you stay. In contrast, breakfast and WiFi are not included, but the resto is decent, including gluten-free options. Pet-friendly, ultra comfy bed and room. I love coming here.
I went to the pop up Christmas bar. The drinks were very good however the atmosphere lacked something. They needed music they needed more holiday cheer it was very packed and crowded and the people weren't very cheery but two drinks were very good and the menu was very cute but they needed music and they definitely needed more Christmases Eve feeling
The Miracle holiday pop-up bar at Marlowe had exceptional drinks and amazing decorations. The eggnog was a must-have. My only issue was how quickly the bartenders announced and closed down for last call.
The hotel was a very easy walk, even in the cold with a dress on, to the science museum. The staff was helpful bringing our bags to our room and even bringing me nail polish remover when I realized I forgot mine!! Everything was very clean and the room was stocked with all the necessities. I would definitely stay here and recommend to my friends and family.
Stayed here more than 100 nights so far in 2017 and love the rooms, service, and friendly staff! Sean and Meredith are amazing plus Ali and many others make you feel right at home. Definitely park at the Cambridge Galleria yourself and you’ll save quite a bit of money and stress. Also try to get a room facing the Charles River - beautiful scenery year round!
This is a great hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms are laege, clean, and modern. The only bummer is the workout room is under construction. They do give a free pass to go to a nearby health club.
Great experience! Nice hotel in Cambridge that's clean and dog friendly. Rooms were enjoyable and service was attentive. Lunch at the restaurant/bar was good too.
Beautiful hotel with great amenities. They play a movie in the outdoor courtyard each night which is perfect for a small family. You can rent kayaks or bikes. There is great coffe and trail mix in the lobby for breakfast. The staff is so sweet!
I loved staying here. It is extremely well centralized, the staff is very friendly and professional and the rooms are modern and clean. You guys are on point with everything and I want to say thank you for making my stay very pleasant. I will definitely stay here again.
It was really clean and spacious with great amenities. Staff was very helpful and gave me supplies I forgot to pack like deodorant and shave cream. Beautiful decor and a free wine hour!
Great hotel. The rooms are really nice and all the amenities are nicely styled. Little things like the plugs on the night stand are easily accessible, but at the same time fit the decor and aren't an after thought added later. The staff is super awesome and extremely helpful. When we mentioned that it was my wifes birthday at check in, they gave us an upgrade to better room. Then later on some nice little snacks showed up.at the room. Would highly recommend staying at hotel.
This hotel has really great customer service. I would definitely return next time i am in Boston. The free bicycles were great. Expend a day riding thru downtown Boston visiting all the historic sites. The hotel location could not be better!
Thanks to the staff!!
I stayed at the hotel since I had a school competition at the business school nearby. To start, the location is awesome if you don't have a car or don't want to drive. It's connected to a mall and lots of nearby restaurants. It also isn't too far from other attractions ~15 minute drive. The hotel itself is great. If you forget anything they have a lot of things you can ask for such as a make-up mirror, tweezers, toothbrush etc. I didn't have anything to complain about but one thing to note is that the hotel is dog friendly so if you have sensitive allergies I suggest letting them know so they can help you accommodate. All in all, the hotel was great, the staff was friendly and efficient and I loved the scenery and location.
The Kimpton Marlowe in Cambridge is just simply 'spectacular'. I work in Cambridge and some evenings when the weather is bad or I don't want to wait in traffic for hours, I will rest my head here. Each time I've visited (about 4 now) I am greeted with open arms by the front desk. Everyone that I've met at the front desk always has a smile on their face and are ready to take care of you. During my last stay I was given a voucher for their nightly wine happy hour, since I missed it, with my later arrival. I was able to use the voucher in the attached restaurant 'Bambara'. Once I arrived after a long day of work and bad day in general (I had fallen on the sidewalk and scraped my knee earlier in the day) I was again, greeted and treated like a VIP. Patrick was behind the bar, and he made me feel special the second I sat down to grab a glass of wine and relax. Patrick was great at making everyone at the bar feel like they were the only one there and yet, had my glass of wine refilled each time before it became empty. Wonderful prompt service and he knows how to make a guest feel special. I ordered a side of their (DELICIOUS) thicker cut french fries and Patrick even took care of that order for me. After my prompt wine service, comped (and delicious) french fries.Mario (the Chef) came out to give me samples of both the chocolate homemade ice cream and mango sorbet. They make it in house at the restaurant and you can tellit's just divine. The rooms at the Kimpton Marlowe are always perfect, clean and have gorgeous views of Cambridge. I would (and do) recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Cambridge or Boston area- as the service is second to none. Thank you! :)
