The stylists here are pretty well trained and the salon is staffed well enough to accommodate walk ins most days. The salon stations are packed pretty tight so there's not much privacy.

Lindsey did an beyond amazing job on my bayalage and cut! She even took the time to show me different ways of curling and styling my hair. I refuse to go anywhere else now.

I've been to this location a couple different times. This past time I went it was for my own wedding updo. I was very disappointed with he quality of work. The updo was very loose and messy. I was lucky that I had a veil over my hair otherwise people would've noticed how messy it looked. By the end of the night (6 hours without dancing and minimal head movement) my hair was sticking out in all different place. The girl was very nice but she didn't do a great job with my hair. She listened to me but I didn't secure the curls well. I was disappointed. Sadly. Because I had a fabulous first experience.

Sheena, at the Powell Salon, has been doing my hair for about 10 years. I've ventured to a couple of other places to try to save money over those 10 years, but I've returned to Sheena because she is an artist. Truly, my hair just isn't the same if she doesn't cut it. I don't know what I'll do when she retires!

Everyone is so amazing! You walk in the door and are greeted with smiles and a cheerful hello. I have have been going to Kenneth's for 15+ years. My first experience was with Laynie, and have been with her ever since. Even though I live on the other side of town, I travel to see her to style my hair. It is amazing how she knows what cut, color and style works for you. If you are unsure of what you want to do, just ask her! You won't be disappointed!

I have been going to Jessica at least 7 years. Started going after my sisters "got real" with me about my hair- and I cant even tell you what a difference she has made- she understands my hairs physical properties- works with them to improve its condition as I age. Most important to me- she knows what I am comfortable with and how important my hair is to my self-confidence. We actually have a plan from month to month on what needs to be done , and I can tell when I am due for an appointment by the way my hair feels. She is delightful and so tuned in to her clients' personalities and needs.

I have been going to Kenneth's for about 8 years. Over that time, I've been to 3 different stylists. I finally found Sheena after being referred to her by my then stylist who was transferring to another location. Over the past 4 years Sheena has been fantastic - I love her as a person and as my stylist. She always listens to my ideas on cut and color and I have never been disappointed when I walk out of the salon. I recommend her without reservation to anyone who wants a great haircut and/or wants their color to look "like it should"!
