I scheduled an appointment for a cut, color, style and told the receptionist twice that I had long, thick hair. Casey showed me a few magazines to help me decide what I wanted which didn't take much time. I have a thin face and needed something different than the long, one length around my face. The coloring took awhile, as expected. Casey's next appointment was waiting during my haircut and I felt rushed to make a decision instead of taking the time to cut small amounts around my face to get to the desired look. She cut my hair so quickly and I didn't notice she layered all of my hair which is definitely not what I wanted. I walked out of Artiques Salon after spending $178.90 with hair coloring on the sides of my face and neck that I did not notice in the salon. My hair wasn't styled at all and I absolutely hate my hair now.

Excellent service, style and price. Renee created beautiful updos for me and my maid of honor for my wedding. She volunteered to come to the site of my wedding to do our hair in order to eliminate extra travel time for us on the big day.

When I was at the salon for a practice up-do, all of the staff were warm and hospitable. The services provided relieved my stress and put me at ease for my wedding. I would highly recommend Salon Artiques and Renee for any styling or updos!
