Mediocre food with a fine dining price tag. Better coffee is right around the corner at Verve, Cafe Iveta is a few blocks away with far better sandwiches, and Companion bakery is a few blocks away with better bread that's organic. They have great overpriced macaroons if you get a craving to eat food coloring and sugar. This place is a testament to the mighty power of branding. When you put "French" in the name you're hijacking customers central processing unit into believing that what they are receiving is better, and thus worth more. Normally I would just never return but it saddened me to see such a blatant cash grab that I felt moved to leave a review.

Love the vibe here on Sundays, but it gets crowded. Line moves fast. Great food, nice staff.

Everythings always so fresh and delicious. So many choices. Long lines though! Definitely worth the wait and the employees are super sweet. And will answer any questions you have will return and will bring friends!

Overpriced, poor service. Meals are school cafe quality at best. Like soggy apparently microwaved lasagne and a tiny tiny side salad.

One of my favorite bakeries! My dad used to take me to to their old location back in the late 90s early 2000s, the lemon bread and is still one of my favorites and always will be. Brings back happy memories!

So disappointed in the garden salad - it was lettuce dripping in oil, really, that's it. Okay, a few cherry tomatoes and a few fried croutons. Someone really needs to teach everyone there how to make a nice salad.

Such yummy food! I had 2 poached eggs (cooked perfectly!) and avocado toast. And of course an almond milk latte. The perfect combination. I would have loved to bring some breads and bakery items home, but was going to be out all day. I've missed coming to this place, need to make the trip over the hill more oftenjust for Kelly's. And the cute shops in the same square are fun to browse, and Santa Cruz yoga as well.

Every time we come to santa Cruz, we have to stop at Kellys. Their bakery options are amazing. Try the sourdough lox and cream cheese. My husband loves their croissants. Good staff, good food, good atmosphere

For best bakery in Santa Cruz, its a hard tie between here and Emily's down the street. Both places are fantastic at what they do, but I think that what has me sold is how much I want to spend. Sure everything at Emily's is cheaper, but everything at Kelly's is just better, but there is a premium that you pay. In addition to the better food there is a wider, more creative selection of food that is sure to have you coming back for repeated visits, unlike Emily's which seems to have gotten a bit old and repetative for me.

What a fun variety, something for everyone! Everything is well displayed in the cases, but confused about the whole bread loaf prices and options. I also agree with several others, a bit over priced. I have had better quality ingredients, same/similar recipe..Half the price in some cases. Our self created sampler of treats was good, and we will go back, but we understand we are paying for a novelty bakery business that is proud of their stuff. (But the line out the door suggests they have a right to be proud)
