Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating, brunch! Service can be a bit slow and last time we were here food came out cold. This time things went smoothly. Also great vegetarian options! Planning on returning 😺

The food was meh, but it was the service that got the 1 star. Went in and was treated like an inconvenience! This isn't the first time this has happened to me there either! The owner also was yelling at someone in the middle of the bar, he looked like an employee, I felt like it was a conversation that should have taken place behind closed doors. I will not be going there again. 3 strikes MOM

If I could give negative stars, I would. This place BLOWS. I sat at a table for an hour before a waitress came to take my drink order. AN HOUR. It took her another 25 minutes to bring the drinks to the table. We didn't get straws so I went to the bar and asked for straws there and the bartender told me "no. These straws are for the bar drinks only." Uh, what?? I'd been there for 2.5 hours before the food came, and it was awful. Tough meat, bland sauce only reason I didn't leave is because I was seeing a band I like. Haven't even touched on the topic of how the landlord is a giant ass. He's entitled and rude, under pays the bands that play for him, and has been known to not pay his staff on time. I'd rather eat at Denny's on Ocean St. at 2 am than ever eat at this place again.

Big place with smaller intimate spots inside of it. Beautiful back deck and front deck. My group and I got a series of delicious appetizers including the artichoke & parmesan dip & garlic fries & I got the garlic pepper wings as the meal. Everything was great & the live music was awesome the night we were there. Go during Happy Hour for great deals! Definitely would recommend for large groups of friends and family.

Great food. Cool patio areas. Live music and happy hour daily. Dog friendly. Been here several times over the past decade and have never found a dish I didn't really enjoy. Don't forget to go right up the street and try some excellent wines and Bargetto.

What a pleasant unexpected surprise! Popped into Michael's on Main for 'Grateful Sunday.' What a wonderful spot. Beautiful porch surrounded by forest, lovely deck with lots of tables and room to dance. Decided to grab a bite, and was blown away by the quality of the food. Was planning on splitting a salad, but had accidentally stumbled into Soquel foodee heaven Took the advice of our super friendly food server, and tried the lobster bisque (fabulous), and sea bass daily special (w/beurre blanc sauce, served on a bed of black rice). A big wow. I'm not the best at describing dishes - but the sea bass was cooked to perfection, and out of this world. Light and lovely, with just the right firmness. Every bite a piece of heaven. Service, staff, quality of food, presentation - five stars all the way. Can't wait to return!

I just had one one of the most exceptional dining experiences of my life. I vacation frequently in Aptos but for some reason Michael' s had gone unnoticed.
Tucked away in Soquel, tThe restaurant has a great vibe. It is hip and inviting.
the interior is roomy, tastefully decorated intimate and cozy.
The patio Is
incredible as well. The plants and beautiful artwork provide a serene setting for a peaceful meal.
I had the skirt steak and it was to die for! It was perfectly prepared it was served with some delicious vegetables and sauces
I'm not usually a vegetable eater nor do I care for froufrou food, but this meal just might make me a convert.
I was too full for dessert then, but I did take a panna cotta, with a raspberry raspberry colis home for breakfast the next day.(btw it was a great way
to start my day )!
The staff@ Michael's is top notch. From the moment we were greeted by the receptionist, to our waitress who served us we knew we were in good hands.
Our waitress was Friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Clearly she enjoys being a part of such a great team
. From what I understand Michaels is under new ownership and it is obvious he has put together a stellar team.
The price s are very reasonable and the
lunch menu have some possibilities as well.
If it were possible to award more than 5 stars believe me Michaels deserves 6.
The food could easily grace the cover of bon appétit. (I really wanted to take a pictures, but it embarrasses my husband and it somehow seems a bit gauche)!
If Michael's on Main is not among the list of
top dining spots oin Santa Cruz County, it certainly should be.
This a place you need to experience for yourself.
I seriously doubt you come away disappointed.
.I'm sorry I live out of the
State because but if I were a local I would be here weekly

Best service in town! We had our wedding reception here and it was the best! Staff is friendly and just wonderful. Food is just as amazing!

New owners have made some great changes. More choices on the appetizer menu, small bites and dinner menu.

One of the best places in the area to go when the weather is warm period they have outdoor seating right on Soquel Creek. At this time it is one of my favorites. The food is better than most at the same price and if you want to dance they have bands playing Saturday nights.
