Exclusive seller of LIVE OAK BEER!!! It is my personal favorite brewery, and this is the only place in Dallas that sells it. If that was the only reason you go, it will be worth the trip.
The backyard party feel makes it a great place to get food and drinks with friends. I mainly go for the chili burger but there are sandwiches and other simple items. BBQ is available Thursday-sunday. It's definitely a nice change of place if you're in uptown.
Love this place! Great food and great atmosphere. You can dress up to eat here or bum it - nobody cares! They are also super dog friendly!
The service is usually pretty good, but sometimes you get a dud. The food is always great and served quickly even when the place is packed. The drink selection is great and is always served very cold!
Bottom line - drive, run, walk, or crawl - doesn't matter how you get there, just go check this place out!
Great place to eat, drink or just have some grown up time with friends or loved ones. The food is awesome, drinks are as well. Very affordable, and well worth it.. the service isn’t bad either, for it to always be as busy as it is everyone is very friendly I’ve never had but good experiences here can’t say one bad thing about it.
Stella was our bartender and she is FLAT OUT AMAZING! She was always aware when we were needed and catered to every detail. I've never had someone so sweet and so quick take care of us. Thank you, Stella and thank you, KTIH. Best bartender I have ever encountered (from former bartenders).
Great casual uptown bar/Restaurant. Great food.. comfortable atmosphere on the Katy trail. good people watching spot
Best swingers-bar-turned-ice-house I've been to :) Seriously, though, this is as authentic Texas as you'll find. Great beer selection. Great atmosphere. Friendly service.
I'm visiting my son and I were out for a walk on the Katy Trail and came across this amazing restaurant. Had a great mushroom swiss and avocado burger. My son had a bacon cheeseburger in honor of Cheeseburger day. They were playing great blues music and real country music. What a great find.
Great outdoor area with lots of sitting options! Decent beer selection and mixed drink menu.
Tasty, straight forward bar food. Got the nachos and a patty melt and was not disappointed. Will definitely be back.
Excellent atmosphere - a truly unique place. Right off the Katy Trail, you can swing in and there are places to lock up your bike. Great food and great beer selection. A bit higher priced than expected. Most of the craft beers are around $7 (price not listed on menu) and with did, that can obviously add up quickly.
Cool atmosphere! It's right off a nice walking trail and has indoor and outdoor space. It's casual and fun with friendly staff and the occasional dog to pet. (Dog friendly on outdoor patio)
Love this place! The food and atmosphere is great. I've been going here for years, but my last experience wasn't the best. I tipped our waitress 20% and she decided to add an extra tip(without my consent), to our tab. Don't sit with Lacy B., she will steal your money!!
I called this restaurant in order to reserve a table and the individual who answered the phone immediately said, "You need to go online and make the reservation.." and then hung up. I was baffled but assumed that perhaps we were disconnected or he was incredibly busy. I emailed the restaurant manager 3 days before I needed the reservation and NEVER received an email back. Once again, I assumed that they were recieving a high-volume amount of emails. I went against my gut feeling, and decided to still go to the restaurant.
I walked in, found a clean table and sat down for a few minutes before a waitress greeted me and my guest (there was 4 of us total). She was incredibly rude and actually said, "I'm busy with other customers right now" when I asked her what the happy hour specials were. In addition, she was rolling her eyes, NEVER smiled, and had a piss-poor attitude throughout our service. We left and will never return again. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 6 years, I'm truly disappointed to encounter this level of service at such a "popular" spot in Dallas. Truly sad, and I hope management takes note of its poor customer service and etiquette.
This is our favorite end point after walking or running the Katy Trail. The beer is spectacularly cold the outdoor seating is one of the best in Dallas. Fires and blankets are available when it is cold and misters and fans blow in the heat. Dogs are welcome and they always have fresh cold water for humans and canines with plenty of cups and bowls to go around. The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. This place can get crazy busy on a beautiful afternoon, I recommend parking a ways away (we always park at Reverchon) and taking a walk on the beautiful Katy Trail to the Ice House to avoid the challenge of parking on site.
