  A true urban oasis, this 5-acre park is a wildlife refuge and mini botanical garden in the middle of University City. Detour off Hamilton Walk to the right after the Leidy Laboratories.

  Also known as the “Bio-pond,” this hidden park opened as a research garden in 1897, and is the perfect spot to have lunch in the company of turtles.
