I went there in the 1950's
Many awesome memories made here!
Finest Scout Camp in America!
A lot of walking which I dislike but it's a beautiful place for cub scouts and boyscouts
amazing view and also a very good scout reservation to have fun while earning merit badges
Not very private. For a Scout Reservation it's hard to see scouts focusing when there are naked women on boats just off the fishing docks and close to the boating areas. It's also a problem with cars traveling to and from the bar just down the street from the camp. Scouts have complained about the walk back and forth from the program areas as well.
Great staff and program.. horrible location and camp layout.
As a scout, it's a very good campsite. Lots of available merit badges and the staff are really nice.
America's Finest Scout Camp - big camp amenities and small camp service.
A place owned by Five Rivers Council which is a part of Boy Scouts of America. Scouts attend Sumer Camp here along with fellow scouts and work on Merit Badges, hike, swim, and other very fun things. Scout troops may use it any time of the year with permission from Five Rivers Council. Personally, I loved it.
