I went in to purchase a garage door spring and asked where they were. The guy behind the counter asked me to show him my existing one. I explained that I did not want to use the original weight spring and again asked for the location of the springs. The counter guy would not tell me where the springs were unless I could justify to his satisfaction that I was going to select the correct spring. Getting increasingly frustrated I asked if he wanted the sell me a spring, the response to which was just a stare. Exasperated I left and went to Home Depot and bought the spring.

This is a great establishment! They have everything I need! The staff has always gone above and beyond to be extremely friendly and informative.

The 1 star reviews are laughable. I would completely ignore them. "I showed up when they closed" "the guy called me out for returning gear, I had no idea what he was talking about oh wait now I remember".

Unfortunately we live in an outrage culture where a weird or average experience means slandering a locally owned small business? People are 5x as likely to complain online than they are to give a good review when they have a good experience.

Karps and LIAmmo have always taken the time to answer all of my questions, and have never been rude! This is a gem of East Northport and they have earned a customer for life.

Ok for plumbing needs, but overcharged me. The firearms department needs help. Staff is not knowledgeable. Owner is curt & very cheap. Not recommended at all.

Great local hardware store. They have beer making supply. Mason jar supplies. You can find most of your needs here. Plenty of parking in the rear with an entrance.

found that customer service was excellent. picked up plumbing supplies, bought a gun at a great price and picked up ammunition at a great price. I found josh very helpful and patient. would recommend anyone to this store for hardware, guns, ammo and ect.

Great knowledge and service overall. They're always willing to help me out and solve a home brewing problem. I now have two all-grain brews under my belt that turned out great thanks to their advice - and I have ten more planned for the coming year. The hardware store staff is also very helpful with advice and supplying the right tools for whatever job I have at hand. +1 on the music in the store. Highly recommended.
