Our room was very cozy and welcoming. The washroom was stocked with so many thoughtful amenities and we loved exploring the beautiful house and the common spaces. My only regret is not staying long enough! I wish i had a whole week to read by the fireplace, play boardgames in the parlor, and wander around downtown KZoo! 😄

This is an EXCEPTIONAL bed and breakfast. The rooms are delightfully furnished, comfortable, and welcoming. In fact, the entire house is welcoming--it felt like coming home. The innkeepers are delightful, they are present as needed but not intrusive.
Breakfast is made to order from a list of choices, indicating your choice the night before allows for breakfast to be ready as you wish.
I can't say enough good things about this B&B--it is the best I have ever stayed in.response / report this review -

Every aspect of the Kalamazoo House B & B was exceptional: from the easy access and check-in, the OUTSTANDING chocolate chip cookies waiting for us each night, the right-at-home feel of the room and parlor, to the delicious made-to-order breakfast!!!
And, if there were to be a Commissioner of Hospitality in Kalamazoo, Steve Gibson would be an excellent choice. Not only does he know and share the detailed history of their beautiful house, he seems to have abundant knowledge of the entire area.
We will definitely stay with Steve and Stephanie anytime we are in Kalamazoo.response / report this review -

My husband and I have stayed here twice for short vacations and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfasts are delicious, the rooms cute and comfortable and the location is great. It was an easy walk to the Amtrak / transit hub and all the downtown attractions.

If anyone has to go to Kalamazoo this was a very nice & pleasant place to stay. The hospitality, breakfast, amenities, location were all top notch! Definitely recommend for future traveler’s. Oh. The beds. As a avid traveler there are only (2) places I have stayed & slept comfortably. This

My wife and I stayed there a few weeks back, and this place lives up to everything that you read about it in the reviews. It is gorgeous inside and out, makes you feel like a king staying here. The service is great, especially if you like your privacy. You can stay overnight, and never be noticed. We really liked our room and felt it was worth what we paid for it.

This was hands down the best B&B I've ever been to. We had one of the rooms with the whirlpool tub. The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and so clean! The bed was like a cloud. The B&B is so well run. They have thought of every little detail. There were extra towels and pillows within a few feet of our room there was a white noise machine in the room in case the place got too quiet. They had coffee and tea available all the time. Fresh baked cookies after 9, water and glasses in the room, toiletries if you forgot any. The Inn Keeper, Steve was exceptionally nice! And Garrett, who is the cook I believe, was also incredibly kind and warm. They made us feel so welcome Honestly I could go on and on I can't say enough about this place! Just book it, and get the pancakes for breakfast!!

Steve and Steph have been incredibly gracious hosts to me too many times to count! My stay is always incredibly comfortable and BEYOND accommodating! Steve & Steph helped arrange Hats, Boots & Hops - a walking tour of some local breweries and it was truly enchanting! It was amazing getting to know all of the guests and getting to know Kalamazoo! The Kalamazoo house is an incredibly historic artifact that is always well kept, full of love & incredible conversation and I will absolutely go back!

Extremely friendly and personable. The amenities were very well thought out and usefull. A beautiful place to stay the night and morning. Fresh cookies and milk at night and delicious breakfast. Best bed and breakfast in have been to. Location is amazing too, so much to do in walking distance.

I was very happy with my room. I had a few questions and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever I sent a text I had a reply usually within a few minutes. It seemed like an historic place and I could almost imagine running into Dr Watson, Holmes, and Mycroft when I was relaxing in the sitting area downstairs. I'd definitely go again.
