Very unhappy with experience I just received.Explained that my daughter was sick and we are planning family vacation. Wanted to reschedule, not have refund. Told both not possible. It's the summer. Won't be returning after this session.

My three year old son has autism. Swimming lessons for safety are an imperative. Kids First offers special needs classes $250.00 for 6 1/2 hour classes. Miss Bree agreed to be my son's teacher. She is attending college to become a special Ed teacher and gave examples of children she had worked with successfully in the past. I was observing the last class of our second 6 class session and noticed that she seemed irritable. My son looked like he wanted to splash which is something they have practiced to get used to the water. Miss Bree wanted him to float on his back. He wouldn't cooperate so she yelled NO! Loud enough that I could hear in the observation room and then deliberately held his head underwater. After he came up it was a few moment before he sputtered the water out of his lungs and began gasping for air. She then ended the class early. When I asked her what happened she admitted to "dunking" him as punishment. I wonder if one night Miss Bree will dream of drowning and wake up gasping for air and think of how she held a 3year old with autism under water so that he breathed water and then choked and gasped for air. Or maybe she won't wake from her dream of drowning.

My girls loved swimming lessons here with Amber! Amber made them feel comfortable to get in the water and try new things! Hope to be back soon but for now we're taking a break because of after school activities.

I enrolled my kids a couple of years ago. The customer service was terrible, especially for how much they charge. I cannot recommend this swimming school to anyone

Horrible. DONT waste your money or time. Very unorganized, ran by poor management that doesn't train front representatives to handle situations. Over heard a instructor come out the pool and told this front desk employee named Antastia that the oil had throw up in it and she said its fine keep teaching. Horrible to allow kids to swim with throw up. Will be looking for a refund and speaking to the direct manager.

I have taken my son here for 4 sets of Mommy and Me courses and now he is moving into the "big kid" classes. The instructors are so nice and very understanding of the children. Everyone I have interacted with is helpful and easy to talk to.
There are a couple interesting aspects of this particular Kids First but you get over it.
    1) They rarely run on time, in fact, you can basically assume they will start about 5 minutes after the time on your phone.
    2) The parents area is very very dark and includes lawn chairs for the parents to watch from so it doesn't feel very friendly or accommodating.
    3) The locker room is usually packed, but if you can get a "changing room" it is much nicer.

All that being said, I will continue to take my son for as long as he desires. The prices are good and the teachers are great. Plus the water is clean and always warm.
