Nice place but dominated by young population and limited space especially in winter when outside sitting is not possible

My Lord had a splendid time, the wenches were to his liking, and the mead was delightful. The black plague does not touch this humble establishment!

It was louder than usual on Saturday night around 7pm, but still managed to hear my friends speak. Had the veggie chili, cornbread, and pickled veggies, all of which were good. It was kind of cold, so don't expect a super warm cozy place when you show up.

Definitely a hip bar with some great patio space (heated as well). Tried their milk stout and the grilled cheese. Their food menu mainly consists of southern comfort food, with a few twists. I'm coming back for both the food and beer. Great for large groups!

Great chill bar. Everyone loves it in the summer but I love going in the winter when their cocktails really warm you up.

This is a great drinking bar, good environment, good outdoor seating. It can be loud and busy in the 6-9 p.m. range but still worth visiting. You have to get swatchos.

I have been to the establishment a few times only because I live a block away -- the service is lamentable, the bartenders are sloppy and good luck getting the staffs attention if you are in a suit. Combine that with a decibel of the fake hipster crowd and you have a losing combo. There are many other wonderful places on U and Shaw that are preferable as opposed to the American Ice Company.
