Having purchased my first car from John Lee Nissan, I was incredibly satisfied with my experience. Was not pushed and all questions were addressed. David was very helpful and still is, anytime I have a question or concern.
Our salesman, Steve, was up front and honest about the condition and price of the car. After we bought it, he pumped about $50 worth of gas into it - never had that happen before at a dealership! Gas station is usually the first stop. Great car buying experience overall.
I am looking for a good used Nissan NV Passenger, and they are hard to find. I search online and find that this place has one, and a nice one at that. I called ahead to confirm that they still have it because I live two hours away. Yes, they say they still have it and ask when I will be there. I tell them I will be there in two hours and head out the door. I get there, talk to a salesman, and inform him that I called ahead about this van. Well technically, yes, they did have his van on the lot. What they failed to tell me was that someone from out of state had put down a large deposit several days earlier to reserve the vehicle. Why could they not take 30 seconds to see that this van was not available before I drove two hours and wasted the better part of a Saturday?? No consideration for the customer, only thinking about getting me there to try to sell me something else which they tried to do. Not interested and not happy.
Thank you Frank for such a GREAT car buying experience. You guys ignore any other negative review. This place is amazing, smooth, you name it. I was very comfortable here. And that says a lot as I am very picky about where I go!
Thank you so much for taking the time and care to help us choose the next two cars for our family. Orlando was very patient with us and helped us get exactly what we were looking for. We really appreciate him being willing to work with us.
Prompt service and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Comfortable waiting area too. I have been a customer for several years and their quality is consistent.
Update, I was able to get my title issue resolved with help from the customer service rep over the phone. She was very pleasant and helpful, I have title in hand now. My only other issue now is the spare key that was supposed to come with the car. I'll update again if the dealership comes through with it.
My overall experience was pretty good, I don't think I could find a better deal in town as far as price was concerned. Staff was friendly, they added a roof rack to my deal which was a big plus. However, I'm still waiting on the title, it's been at least six weeks, I've left a few messages with no response. I was also told in the business managers office when I was signing documents that they needed to recover a spare key from the previous owner, I guess that really doesn't qualify as a promise to delivery a spare key but I took his word and trusted he would deliver it. The salesmen was kind enough to do some research as well but was unsuccessful in recovering the spare key from the previous owner, he also ask the dealership if they would provide an additional key, basically the answer was no. It just didn't sit well with me, I felt it was a matter of principal, every car I have ever purchased came with two keys, I assumed this one would as well, maybe I'm wrong in assuming that. I do plan to buy a couple more cars but I'm hesitating to give return business. Overall, decent customer care upfront, my salesman was pretty darn good. The spare key and title issues slightly soured my experience.
Everyone I spoke with was very courteous and nice. I was looking mostly at used cars but I was still treated with respect and as well as if I was buying a new car. Orlando was my salesperson and he did everything to make my car shopping experience great! Wonderful customer experience :) And I love my "new" car!
The people here are great. The service is wonderful. I was so happy with their service last year that I came back and bought another car this year. Joe Harris is an awesome sales person that found me discounts I did not know about. Their service department is always very thorough and friendly. Definitely recommend John Lee Nissan.
This is my second of two services done there, both of which have been a disaster.
This week, I brought my 2014 Altima in for service to have its 30K mile service done. Oil/Coolant exchange/Transmission flush/Tire rotation/Inspection.
I returned to pick up my car, and there is no coolant in the reservoir at all, and no power steering fluid in the reservoir. So much for the "inspection". I go inside, ask for the inspection results, and they say that they were verified and good to goon my carthat was just servicedand has no coolant or power steering fluid in the reservoirs.
I informed the service agent that this was the second time I had issues with the service department, and she replied "oh, I wish you had told me, we would have made sure it was done right."
Oh wait a minute here, so you don't make sure it is right for all over your vehicles? I just paid over $300 worth of service and you don't automatically make sure it's correct???
Later, I requested to speak with the service manager. He apologized and ensured it was taken care of for the time being, but assured he would respond to me about his plan of action to fix the situation, and said he would call me on Friday. It's 10 pm on Friday, and again, I was let down.
Would I recommend John Lee Nissan for service, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
I could not have asked for a better experience with my first vehicle purchase of my own. From the moment I called John Lee Nissan, I spoke with Alexis Hinton in Internet Sales and told her what I was looking for. She immediately connected me with Salesman Patrick Colbert, who began looking for the perfect vehicle to fit my needs. Within a day, my car drove onto the lot and Patrick and Alexis contacted me immediately. The car was detailed, was certified pre-owned, received brand new tires and brakes, and was completely checked for excellence. Within 3 days, it was in my driveway.
In the prior weeks to purchasing my car with John Lee Nissan, I had some not-so-good and even worse experiences with other car dealerships and salesmen who were less concerned with my needs. Getting connected with Alexis and Patrick was a breath of fresh air. I was no longer discouraged and felt completely confident that I was in good hands. These two went above and beyond for me, and I am so grateful!
Highly Recommended!
Sold my car to the dealership. I checked out the value of car before I went there. The dealership's offer was in the range I expected. But more than that, the people were very easy to work with; very friendly, helpful, and upfront. And considerate. I actually enjoyed my experience there. Was very surprised because I expected something entirely different. when selling a used car!!!
John Lee Nissan is definitely the best auto dealership in Panama City. Their customer service and Lifetime Warranty sets them apart from the competition. I have purchased three vehicles from them (Rogue, Titan XD, and Pathfinder) and I've been satisfied every single time. Everybody is great but I feel like I have to point out the great customer service that Patrick Colbert offers. He cares about the customer and he is always searching for more ways to meet his customers' needs. Great dealership, great customer service, great vehicles. What more can you ask for?
We had a terrific experience at working with Joe Hall at John Lee Nissan a few weekends ago. We came to Panama City intending to purchase a truck from a different dealership but so happy to have found John Lee Nissan on the way into town. We ended up purchasing a used Tacoma and couldn’t be happier. All around great experience and people. Thanks Joe!
