Five bucks for a day pass, sweet boardwalk across the water to the beach, tram available if you need or want, nice beach area that wasn't crowded.
Gorgeous place! Great beach! Feels private and untouched! I love bringing visitors here. This place will take your breath away!
Moderate cost at the gate to a less visited beach with changing and toilet facilities. A gift shop, displays and kayaking through inland waters is available for rent. Some BBQ grills and tables ready for a picnic. A trolley can take you to the beach. Bring the family, stay the day.
Love the beach and kayaking the intercostal. A great family friendly location with several weekend activities. Check their website before heading out.
Educational park that has been untouched by people building structures or altering the natural environment - quite rare in South Florida.
Loved the place very pretty and well kept. The nature center was very interesting. Dan the park ranger is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Definitely worth going to!
Beautiful beach, golf cart for long haul from parking lot to beach, maybe 1 mile? Not for people with walking issues. Nice museum and gift shop. I bought some passion vine plants and they're doing well. Try renting a kayak in the lagoon. Many fish.
Paid the $5 for my dot and myself to get into the park. Very basic kayak launch area, plenty of parking too. There is a wooden deck to rinse your boat off at also.
Wonderful paddling around the many sand bars and lots of other people enjoying the water too! I will be going back. They also rent kayaks if you do not have your own.
I did not check out the beach as dogs are not allowed in that area. Didn't matrer, there were plenty of sand bars to romp on.
This is my favorite place to go the beach in the area. The park rangers are always so friendly and the beach is nice and clean with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. They also have launch sites for kayaks or you can rent one from them. Whether you are visiting or a local i think its a good idea to become a member because it has some many benefits
Great for a day out. Family friendly. Offers kayaking and snorkeling.Entry is only $2 per person or $5 per car. Kayak rentals are cheap and there is a nice gift shop with friendly staff. There is a golf cart that goes back and forth from one side of the park to the other along the foot bridge giving you the option to ride or walk.
The place was amazing. Truly beautiful. There's a long boardwalk to walk across, which takes you to a beautiful beach, or canoeing, or nature trails. They host events all the time and a fully loaded gift shop. The only thing that I thought was crappy is that there were not any vending machines to purchase drinks and the gift shop closes early. I think it should stay open while the park is open or have another source to purchase waters or drinks. We were quite thirsty, especially after walking so much.
One of my favorite beaches! Ive had great experiences snorkeling here (saw a stingray and lots of colorful fish). Kayaking was fun, if you plan on going more that once a year definitely get a membership! Super affordable and pays for itself after one visit.
There is a beautiful footbridge that spans the entire length of the inlet leading to a peaceful beach that wasn't crowded at all. There is a gift shop with a cute sea turtle. Only $5 for parking and entry. Helpful staff. Worth every penny for a beach experience! Kayaking and other activities are available as well for very reasonable prices! I will be returning often!
