1s time here, visiting from out of town when my son developed chest pain.
Quick and easy registration process with friendly and knowledgeable triage nurse.
Assessment, treatment and results were done very proficently. We arrived at 12:04 and were discharged by 2:30am.
My son's RN Lindsey and Dr. Prince were amazing! Impeccable bedside manner.
If I could give your hospital a negative 20 stars I would. The experience I had giving birth in your hospital had been so horrifically tramatic I don't ever want to have another child for fear of the same pain and suffering I endured due to your staffs incompetence for three whole days. The food service afterwards was horrific as well. The only thing good I can say about your hospital is that I loved the nurses in post partum they were very caring and compassionate. I suggest that your anesthesia staff and labor and delivery nurses pull the stick out of their butts and listen to the patient when they are not the ones who can or cannot feel with an epidural wire hanging out of their back. I have had several epidurals with other hospital for the births of my other children and would know the difference between one not working and one that does..if I'm ever in labor again..I rather give birth in the bushes than at your hospital. I sincerely hope anyone reading this who plans on having more children than one deliver somewhere else.
We were there today to have a cat scan of my 4 month old daughters head. The staff was so nice & accomodating. Our technician Carol was so great. Even after my daughter woke up on the machine table as soon as we put her down Carol allowed us to stay in the room trying to get her back to sleep. After walking the hallways for at least 30 minutes to get our daughter back to sleep Carol was nice enough to take us right back in and get her CT done with no sedation and no issues. Thank you so much for making such a difficult process as easy as possible.
My daughter was admitted to the children's hospital and everyone was amazing with her, the nurses, the staff, and the volunteers. She was there for four days and I honestly have nothing bad to say about anything. One of the people that stood out to me was a woman by the name Leah she works as a I want to say child life employee and she made my daughters uncomfortable situation pleasurable. She was the best and without her I really don't know how I would have gotten through the four days there, but the nurses and staff were really great. Thank you for taking care of my baby. Keep up the good work!
My 1 month old is in here as I speak we were in the PICU first the nurse's there are awsome now that they have moved us to the 1st floor im very disappointed with the nurse's you have to constantly ask for the same thing before getting it if they get it to you the people that sit at the desk are even worst they have a problem with you calling the desk this lady huffed and puffed because I called earlier today right now it's 10:50pm and I still haven't gotten a gown for my baby the cna's are sweet and they help but these nurse's are horrible they will ask if you need anything you will tell them what you need and never get it I'm so ready take my baby home so I won't have to beg for the things she need.
The Pediatric ER department is great here. They take care of your child as if its their own. The nurses and doctors go above and beyond. I would like to thank nurse Caleb and his colleagues who took the best care of my baby sunday night and the nurses in the pediatric hospital ; Janelle, Maritza and all the staff in the picu.
STAY AWAY from this hospital. I brought my daughter in for an urgent issue. We waited, went through registration (blood pressure check and temperature, insurance info gathering, paperwork). Once that was complete, my daughter no longer had the urgent issue. I don't want to go into her issue, but needless to say we thought it was appropriate to go there and appropriate to tell the staff we no longer needed to see a doctor and left. We paid $150 before leaving as requested by the billing dept. We paid and left. I figured that was the end of it. WE GOT A BILL FOR OVER $2000. My insurance covered most, leaving us with a bill for $350. THEY DID NOTHING. NOT A THING! Why was a bill for over $2000 generated in the first place. A customer service rep actually tried to tell me that the blood pressure and temperature check cost that amount. THIS COUNTRY IS DOOMED. How do they expect people to pay these outlandish fees. Hospitals only care about money - not your death, not your loved ones, not ANYTHING except money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not go to this hospital unless you wake up there after being shot. Even then, try to get out before they get your name.
So now you have to request to be in private to discuss your issues at hand. They do your vitals right in front of everybody. No signs to notify you of these new changes. Needless to say I've been sitting and waiting to be seen for at least an hour now. It's early in the morning. Smh. Disappointed.
I honestly feel like they are unprofessional. The people who work at the desks care more about their looks then the patients. You have one girl who work in the insurance part in the ER rolling her neck when your talking to her, gets an attitude when you explaining something to her, shuts the door in your face when you talking to her, I don't know where they hire these people from but they most definitely need to do a lot better. If you need to go to the hospital please go to Good Samaritan.
