Hidden in the back of a hotel you'd never know it was there if someone didn't tell you about it. It reminded me a lot like postcard Inn but with a much bigger patio section. The food only seemed okay but the drinks were good. The vibe was really cool but it's your typical Beach bar but the cool thing about Jimmy's is that they have direct access to the beach. I went on a Saturday night and the place was live.

Extremely disrespectful security guards. Pushed and shoved for no reason. They put hands on people for absolutely no reason. Very aggressive. Do not support this place.

Great laid back place. Beautiful ocean view. Blackened shrimp tacos are excellent. Always has great bands. Best sunset bar in St Pete's.

Omg I've lived in St. Pete almost a year now and tonight is my first night going Jimmy B's and I have to say it was an absolutely amazing atmosphere! They had live music and the service I received was beyond amazing. Our waitress was Katelyn and she looked as if she had the entire (full) room. She rocked it, she had people smiling and laughing and she kept the drinks full for everyone. She was truly extraordinary. She made my groups trip and I'm sure she made many other groups nights amazing as well!!!!!

Excellent food and drinks. Have come here 3 times so far on our vacation and they have not disappointed us! The bartenders are fantastic, very attentive to their customers. Brad is one of the bartenders that stood out from the rest (they all were Excellent! Just recall his name currently). He was very helpful, courteous, funny, and personable. I highly recommend this bar!

I loved the food from here and service was fast and great! The waitress was very attentive. There was a live band playing and they also sounded great! Nice clean atmosphere. Right off the beach! The fish tacos were one of the best! Highly recommended!

Atmosphere is great! Music playing, but a little loud! You can see the beach and the waves! The tables are not worn out and are comfortable!
The strawberry lemonade is the best I have ever had! The mozzarella sticks are an A+ and the rear of the food is great! The kids burger is 1/4 pound so be aware of portions!
I would say it is a great family restaurant for kids 8 and older! This is a must eat restaurant if you are in the area!

Our group of about 14 had a great time and pretty much closed the place down. Drinks were good, music was great and of course the beach atmosphere was great! Will be spending more time here this summer!

Phoenix! Great band! They lost our food but comped it👍no problem! Only problems were the hard bar stools with no backs and need more fans.

This is the best spot to drink on St. Pete! At least from our experience. Tried several places up and down the stretch near our hotel and kept coming back for the great cover bands, tasty and "vacation cheap" drinks, quick service, awesome patio, beautiful view, and the best part.. people watching.

Food was terrible. Food tasted like it was out too long in the heat. But the redeeming factor was the drinks. Skip the food and enjoy a drink with some great live music. The band was awesome!

This place is great for warm afternoons and evenings. There is live music a majority of the afternoon and evening, and it's comfortable place to relax. There's no dress code, and it's a seat yourself-type restaurant. The food is good; I had the fish and chips meal, and while the fish was smaller than I expected, and not very well breaded, the fries were great.
The service wasn't the best as the restaurant focuses more on it's bar aspect, and we had to wait a while before we were served. The food is made off site at the nearby Player's bar and grill, which shares the same menu, and is transported by a tricycle with a cart known as the Jimmy B's Express.
Overall it's a fun place with good views of the beach in most areas, and the music makes for an exciting and laid back mood.response / report this review
