Horrible they've had my mom's van for two weeks and still not done they don't call to give her updates I will not be recommending this place ever
They performed work that I didn't authorize busted driver front wheel well cladding and left it hanging loose.
Best shop ever honest and fair work I will not take my car anywhere else
If anyone is looking for a good and honest mechanic I would recommend Jims Auto in Plainfield. Its really hard to find someone who is honest these days. I won't take my car any where else.
They are always fair and super helpful. I've never had an issue while going there. If anything they've always went above and beyond. The prices are more than fair and the work is great! I'll continue to take my vehicles there!
We had a horrible experience also! Customer Service was very poor. "New" parts were changed that should not have been, and they wanted to charge $25/day for storage. BBB will be contacted.
TERRIBLE!!!!! Bill makes promises that he cannot keep. We took our vehicle there twice. The first time we were promised that our vehicle would be done the next day. Around 4:45 on the day that it was supposed to be finished my husband decided to call, because we had not heard anything from them all day, only to learn that our vehicle would not be done until the next day. Strike one. Thought that we would give them another chance and took our vehicle back in for a simple repair that ended up costing us over $400. The mechanic fixed things that we did not even ask for nor did we agree to and then refused to take the cost off of the bill. I WOULD NOT recommend this shop to anyone. My husband and I had the WORST EXPERIENCE at Jim's Auto Repair! DO NOT GO.
I've been going there over 15 years, and they have always been fair and up front. They go above and beyond any service I would get from any dealer or other shop in town. Fair prices, honest work, good results. - Tim Mathews
