My family had a really unfortunate experience at Jerzees last night. My dad arrived here in the late afternoon to get a table to watch the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight, eat dinner, drink, and enjoy good company. My dad arrived early to get a table, as we anticipated there being a crowd to watch the fight. There was a $10 cover charge to enter, which he anticipated paying with no issue. My husband and I, along with a friend of my Dad's arrived later that evening and met him there. We also paid $20 to enter the establishment. My husband and I had just sat down and began looking at the menu to order dinner. At that time, the manager and his bouncer approached our table informing us that he had just "sold off" that table for reservation to another party. We were unaware that these tables were being "sold off" to watch the fight, as no one informed my dad or us of this upon entry, or during the time my dad and his friend ordered and ate their food. The manager's insincere response went something like, "I don't know what to tell you other than I'm going to have to ask you to move because I already sold this table reservation off for $80. I have another table up for reservation though, that you can purchase for $60 over there". That last "offer" was insulting to say the least. My husband and I hadn't even had the chance to order yet, therefore, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the way this situation was handled and the lack of accommodations that had been offered. Since my husband and I had been there for less than 10 minutes before being told we had to move (our only choices were to either leave or stand because there were no other seats available), we requested that the $20 in cover charges we paid, be refunded so that we could leave. The manager agreed that he would refund us the cover charges. The manager walked away for a few minutes, in which time, we assumed he was trying to find accommodations for us. Instead of coming back to our table, he sent over a woman to whom apologized for the inconvenience and handed my dad and his friend their checks. That was an incredibly passive aggressive way of asking us to leave. The manager didn't even wait more than 5 minutes before he sold that last open table off to another party. At which time, we reminded the woman that the manager was planning to refund our cover charges, and we intended to wait until we received that, to exit. The manager came back over informing us we needed to move, in which we responded that we'd be happy to leave as soon as he refunded our $20. Then, I informed the manager that my husband, nor I, will be returning to Jerzees in the future. I'd like to add that the manager never even apologized to us for this negative experience, nor showed an ounce of sincerity in the way he dealt with this situation. My dad and his friend really wanted to watch the fight, so they chose to stand, however he did express how upset and dissatisfied this experience has made him, to the manager. Again, no apology or sincerity was given at this point either. I'm not sure what happened or why, but I do know that someone should've made my dad aware that the table he was occupying would be reserved for a watch party at "X" time and that he could either reserve another table, or move to the bar. No one informed him of last night's "pay to sit" policy, and I find that to be unfair, and unprofessional.
My husband and I left, and my dad and his friend stood the entire night until the fight was over. I understand that mistakes happen, and I'm sure it was chaotic to keep up with the amount of people, however, an establishment that treats my family with such disrespect, and with a manager that doesn't show any amount of sincerity for the mistakes that were made and the inconveniences it caused out of pure greed for monetary compensation, is an establishment that won't ever receive any business from myself, or my husband in the future.
Server was great. He knew without asking we were in a time crunch and had the food out in a timely fashion. He also knew that we were paying separately and had the bill again in a timely fashion. The food was great too. 1st time going to this establishment and I know we will return.
Average. The patio is nice you can smoke cigarettes on the patio, at the bar. The staff seemed like I was not really wanted there. Just another cold Canton bar. Cold women and cold beer, to chew on a phrase. The Erie island wings are good. "Warm beer and cold women." -Tom Waits
Chipotle ranch burger is excellent. Ask for Shantel. She is wonderful.
Decent food and drinks at average prices overall a good sports bar and grill
Great place to hang out, have food, have drinks, and meet friends. This location is walking distance from me, which is an added bonus for me. Their food is really good. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy.
Staff is extremely attentive. The food is consistently good!
Found this place for a late lunch at visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Walked right in, had the pretzel dippers that were good. Then I had the Blitz Burger and it was very good. My wife had the Funky Chicken, minus the bun, was very good as well.
I would recommend this place and come again.
