Service was terrible. The hostess was absolutely rude the server was bothered by serving us. The sausage sampler was very good but the pesto chicken sandwich had bacon jerky instead of bacon on it. I loved the feel of the place but the staff suck. Better people would make for a better experience
Delicious food! The pulled pork sandwich was amazing and the fries are great as well. It's a really large building but usually always busy. Definitely recommend!
We went to the restaurant portion and had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious and wonderful selection of their beers and other mixed drinks as well. We went on a saturday around 7, so it was extremely busy. Expect a wait. But it's completely worth it.
Great Lakes brews some incredible beers, certainly one of the best Midwest breweries. Typically, there Oktoberfest is wonderful but this year's wasn't up to par. Nonetheless, customer service was very helpful when I emailed my concern.
Overall this is a good spot to go. The beer is great, the service is good, and they offer a wide variety of food options. Food has been pretty good both times. I've taken dozens of brewery tours over the years, and theirs was underwhelming. Most places don't charge but GLBC does, I think it was $5.
I'd recommend making a reservation for dinner (if they take them), it's usually very crowded. Parking is not good, ride share down there if you can.
Great outdoor seating for food. The food options were good, and the jambalaya excellent. There was a lobster bisque that delivered as well.
Beer was good with some selections that you can only get here. Also, the gift shoppers right next door. Very cool place to visit!
Myself and a group of guys get together monthly for good food and drinks. We like to try something new each time and make an experience out of it. For May, we chose Great Lakes Brewing Company. We started off with a 1 hour tour of the brewing facility. It was very interesting and tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. You get four beer samples along the way as well. We then ate dinner at the restaurant right after. It was very busy but we got a table right away. The service as fine and the food was quite good. I had a huge burger and some appetizers. The beer is high quality but quite filling so keep that in mind when ordering food. We had a really good time and will definitely go back. I would recommend to anyone who likes quality beer and learning some history of the area.
I can't describe how great the visit here was. I already made plans to go back. The tour was great, the beer is great, and the restaurant has amazing food. Ohio City is a nice little area too.
Love this place. Very friendly staff, awesome beer & food. The basement has a bar and a neat beer/wine cellar feel. Good for grabbing a beer, or having dinner.
You have to come here. It's Great Lakes, come on now. I've only had the beer here and what else can be said but excellent. It's a tiny quaint place to relax with friends. Have not tried the food yet.
Beer. Beer. Beer. It's all about their beer. I love this place because they always have something wonderful on tap that you can't get outside of their brewpub.
While their beer is amazing, they also have really good food. The soft pretzels are probably the best I've ever had and are the perfect pairing with BEER!
I loved their beer and this would probably be 4 stars but they absolutely failed at food. They couldn't do mid rare burger after 2 tries. I gave up. Their cocktails aren't worth it (cherry vanilla smash tastes like watered down bourbon) but the beer is great. I would say this isn't for food. It's for great beer.
Edit: they gave me a $15 gift card to compensate so I'm giving them a star for that and saying that it is much appreciated.
Edit 2: with a beer your and a few free beers they earned themselves another star and a comment about their friendliness from me.
