The sandwiches are very filling and come out hot. I got the fried green tomato one, my husband got the Monte Cristo. It was delicious. There are a lot different sandwiches to choose from. There's something for everyone.

Food was Amazing ! All the locals rave about it and it holds to par that the food is great, the atmosphere is friendly, and definitely kid friendly. So many great options to choose from but believe me when I say 1/2 a sandwich is more than enough to have you full enough to burst. Definitely a must eat!

Great sandwiches that will cater to almost anyone's liking. Melts sandwiches are all made in a "grilled cheese" style and range from a standard grilled cheese or "kindergarten" to a delightfully and surprisingly good "chicken and waffles" which is exactly what you think it is. Sandwiches themselves are filling and can be ordered in half sizes if you so desire. Beer selection is also expansive and will likely have something of note for anyone on draft. Staff and service are above par for the area and are helpful and knowledgeable for fist timers. Restaurant itself is clean and well kept. As in the name it is a Bar and Grill so expect the atmosphere of any other bar and grill. Has TVs in the restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to catch a game.

Really unique options to choose from with gigantic portions. I didn't like what I ordered (cuban war), but that's my own fault. My boyfriend got the mac and cheese sandwich and loved it. Fries were good and we got the mozzarella stick appetizer which was great, too. Definitely would visit again - and pick the peanut butter and banana option!

Great eclectic bar and grill! Very friendly staff, food was amazing!!! I had the Cleveland Cheese Steak and my wife had the Old Popper (I think that's what it was called). Best sandwich I have ever had. Great seletion on the menu for both food and drinks and once again very friendly staff!

Service was a bit slow on a Tuesday night, fair, but the food was outstanding. More choices than you'd imagine, and friendly for vegetarians or vegans. Decor is odd, like a mix of Halloween/Christmas/dive bar. Good beer selection.

Melt is always such a great place to go. The food is delicious and unique and the beer list is great. Not too expensive and the portions are huge. If you're a fan of grilled cheese of any sort, I would highly recommend this place. It's incredible and the building itself is quirky and fun to be at.

Good food, good service. The decor seems a bit staged. Ugly Christmas and other holiday decorations. Random nostalgia pieces that appear to be placed by a hipster interior designer. Very large bar with hardly anyone sitting there on a Saturday night. Despite the "bar and grill" identifiers we were told they consider themselves to be a "family restaurant" and half of our party was "cut off" after one of them somehow managed to "make a staff member uncomfortable". I would still go back again, the food was good.

Met quickly on a Sunday and not as busy as other locations. Which I think was great, sometimes the busiest turns sour quick. Fried tomatoes had great flavor fried a bit too long but still cleaned the plate. Had the Korean war pig and some good craft drafts before a shoe at the grog shop. Get a small grilled cheese tattoo and save some money.

Wasn't as great as some claim. The Mac n cheese sandwich was pretty good. The coleslaw was dry and full of pepper, fries were soggy, super salty and undercooked. Sat at the bar to eat, bartender definitely had NO personalityProbably wouldn't go back again.

This is the second location we've visited and while they have the same great menu, once sat the service was slow. Everyone was friendly and that goes a long way, but service with a smile is still just a smile when you are waiting. The food is good pub food. I strongly preferred the ambiance and the crowded atmosphere of the Lakewood location.

WAY overpriced. $15 for a greasy, soggy "grilled" sandwich. You can't order just a sandwich, you have to get it with a side of fries or chips. They charge an extra $3-4 to swap for soup or vegetables. Ridiculous. It is also extremely slow. Food takes forever. I'll never understand why this place is so popular. Avoid it.

How can you not love melt! The sandwiches are monsters and you will always have leftovers (beer reheat them in the microwave, put them in the oven they will be amazing). Their sandwiches are unique and delicious. Last night when we came here I had the Lake Erie Monster. This is one of my favorite sandwiches. It's stacked with cod, coleslaw, cheese and comes with a delicious jalapeno tartar sauce. I like the sauce but honestly you don't even need it, it comes on the side which is nice because you control how much you want.

Now on to their sides. Their fries are nice and thick. I'm a fry person, these are some of my favorites. They used to serve coleslaw with their sandwiches but now you have to get it as a side. I did last night because that slaw is amazing.

It was the first time I've been to this location and it really liked it. It's big and open so there is lots of seating. It wasn't insanely busy like the original one is in Lakewood. We were able to sit down immediatly so I was happy because we were all starving. Our waiter was awesome too! Best part is the kitchen was SO fast. I couldn't believe how fast our sandwiches came out. Great food and place!
