I placed an order for an oxtail dinner on grub hub and paid online. I picked up the order and was very disappointed to find that I had all bones and no meat on my oxtails. It looked as though the meat had fallen off (perhaps into the pot while cooking). For $20+ for this meal that is disappointing. They should have taken more pride in the dish that was served. I uploaded photos of the oxtails and I put them next to a coke bottle top for sizing reference. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I picked them based on the reviews, however they definitely did not live up to them. I will not be back.

And their chicken WING is the BEST in the world!
They call it jerk chicken wings, for the first time in the US their chicken tasted like real chicken and all their food is super delicious and super healthy!
On the weekends no chance here but on the weekdays they’re pretty much available. Also their price is very reasonable, they value your dollar!response / report this review -

The food was simply amazing. The vibe was nice and chill they made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped inside. The wait staff knew just what i wanted even though I didn't and you get so much food,it's worth EVERY dime so let me say again Jamaica Gates is highly recommend the whole place feels like a home away from 🇯🇲.

A very welcoming encounter each visit. The staff are friendly and very attentive and interested in our experience there. They gave a gift of Jamaican beef patties with our order to take with us on our travel back to Louisiana. The food is so juicy and good. The ox tails 😋I have had Jamaican food before but not like this. This is an authentic Jamaican restaurant with fresh meat cooked the true Jamaican way with real ingredientswe stop by ever time we come to Arlington,Tx it is a must.. Rating 10 out of 10..

My order consisted of ox tail, Curry goat, rice and beans and cabbage. The curry goat was delicious. For the first time, the oxtail was not that good. For that matter… I might have to check who the chef is before getting my order. Usually their food is very good but this time the oxtail was extremely salty.I did not bother to take it back because I live so far. However they are the best Caribbean spot to eat at in that area. Usually it’s an older guy that is making all the food and the food comes out delicious. This time the ox tail was too salty.
