Ate here for the first time today. I had a cheesesteak sandwich and it was excellent. Lots of people came through to pick up to go orders. Will try a pizza next.
Absolutely love this place. Favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The calzones are my favorite. The ambience and parking leaves something to be desired but it really hammers home the point of locally owned. Parking can be a pain sometimes.
I went hoping for some nice Italian food. (First time) The place is pretty small and seemed like a business that was locally owned and the kind of place that needed local support. The pizza was great and had probably the best crust I have had on a pizza.
The service is what affected my rating. The menu has no mentioning of onions on the vegetarian pizza and onions are pretty commonly unliked by many. We ordered the pizza and sadly there were onions all over the pizza. Now I’m not self righteous and probably should have made sure with the staff, but I feel that this is a fault on both parties. I asked the waitress if she could remake the pizza and I’ll pay for both. She and the other female servers seemed to have some type of worried and frightened look on their face as though I was an abusive husband. She conversed with the only male employed and there are no walls that can hold back sound here. He plainly said, “that is a waste” with a low grumpy sound voice in exclamation. My girlfriend and I both heard.
The whole time we felt the frightened feeling that the servers felt. The table service was equally as bad as the cooks manners and our cups sat empty for the majority of our visit.
Good food. terrible service.
Huge, tasty portions served by friendly, happy people. Wish this place was in our town! We both had a pasta dish but I would love to have tried the pizza.
Excellent food, come to this place if you are really hungry. Great Italian food. I have ate Italian food all over the US. This is the best.
The cheese bread is amazing as always and their Philly cheeses are wonderful!the calzone is great with the cheeses inside of it! Everything is fresh and hot right out of oven.
The food was delicious. We ordered large geese pizza and hot wings. However some of the downsides is that they don't have fountain drinks you have to pay per bottle or 2 liter and the restaurant and the restaurant wasn't all that inviting decorationwise but the staff were polite and knowledgeable about their menu! Pricing was perfectly reasonable.
I think I am about the last person i Bristol to try this wonderful little jewel. The only thing that I have had that I didn't really care for was thw stuffed shells. I don't usually like pasta anywhere but at home but I had heard how good so I gave it a whirl. My daughter didn't really care for her pasta dish there either. But let me tell you everything else is a slam dunk! Love it I have eaten three 3 times in the last 10 days. So yes very good food. Nice people working there. I love it
Ordered a Greek pizza. Terrible. Clumps of canned spinach. Only left over tomato ends used on the entire pizza. Very little feta cheese. Very disappointed. The wait was over 45 minutes. I won't return.
Whenever I am in Bristol I have to come here! The food is outstanding! Service is great too. From pizza to sandwiches to traditional Italian dishes everything is great. Portions are plenty to share too! You will not be disappointed coming here.
Everything is made fresh and the sauce is from scratch. Service wasn't the greatest as they took our order but never gave it to the chef to prepare. However, the food was worth the wait. Calzones are awesome and the portions are big enough to share. Best Italian food I've had in a long time. Great hole-in-the-wall atmosphere.
